Ryan Charles Brennan, 18, of Fairfield, the son of Tom and Dale Belinkie Brennan, died Feb. 28 at Memorial Sloan Kettering in New York City from cancer.
Born Jan. 18, 1993, in Bridgeport, he was a student at Fairfield College Preparatory School. He loved music, skateboarding, traveling with his father and best friend Sean Keane, roller coasters, Disney World, Atlantis and watching movies. He was also the honorary chairman of the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life in Fairfield.

Ryan Brennan was one of my best friends. i loved him so much and so did anyone who had ever met him. he was the bravest, strongest, and just overall best guy anyone could know. We shared so many great times together. He had been battling cancer for 20 months and always stayed positive. Yesterday, we had the wake, and today, the funeral. It has been a hard time on the family and our entire group of friends. We had all loved and been there with him each step of the way. you are the best kid i ever knew and always remain in my heart.
