Has anyone else broken their tailbone skiing?

I broke mine in Mid-December. Icy day, slipped out after a 270 on to a flat-down.

I've been out for 5 weeks off and on this season because I have fallen on it again etc.

Just wondering has anyone else on NS broken their tailbone skiing?

bot broke but bruised came was disastering a round rail and came on with my weight on my edges and out i went, took it straight up the ass most pain so far this ski season, since i was under the lift and the hit on my ass shot me back on my feet i a banged the shit out of it to make me look a little bit cooler.

bruised it on a dfd, not broken (as far as i know). the thing that really sucks about it is that you wanna relax after getting hurt like that, and you can't laze around on your ass when it's black and blue.

done it twice, partial fracture the first time then re-did it the second time. This was a few years ago, was out for like two months each time, sat on a donut, looked like a fool.

over shot big jump to flat.. scary .. thought i broke my back..  tailbone. fucked... i took two weeks off and then its dumped pow.. i have takin a break from pow..  now my back is out of whack. but iam goin to the chiro on friday

i bruised it last year, not too badly, but i was on a rail, did a bs switch up the n slid out and bacicly sat right on the end of ther rail. it hurt pretty bad at the moment, almost didnt want to move for a muinet but got back up and kept skiing.

then i hurt it later when sledding, i went off a jump i built and the sled came out from under me in the air and i landed on my ass

Not fully related, but I was doing switch-on to a 35 foot flat rail and my ski went INSIDE the rail..... I got a bulging disc which hits a sciatic nerve which makes your nuts hurt until the swelling subsides. Less than awesome.

But yeah...broken tailbones are awful

hit a beautiful 25ft lil drop/natural pillow hip, got too much speed and flew into a tree well 2 days ago. I broke several large branches with my ass crack/tailbone and actually slammed into the trunk with my tailbone. Needless to say its all black and bruised, im lucky i didnt impale myself with a branch or break my  back or get internal bleeding. My asshole, yes my asshole is bruised like no other, along with the crack, and both cheeks and a bump about 4 inches wide and 1 inch out on my tailbone
ive been the the ER 10+ times but this is an 11 on the pail scale, taking a shit this morning almost had me crying, no immediate signs of of internal bleeding but my intestines hurt like a bruise that shakes everytime i feel food move through my intestines

My tails caught on the top of a super pipe re-entering switch and it tomahawked me onto my ass. Doc's said it was broken in the xray, but there was nothing they could do for it, just time off skiing.

I did last year on opening day of my resort, worst thing ever. Tried a 4 out of a flat bar to landing on straight ice. Only good thing is that I got to sit on a pillow during school.

I my left hip up at the beginning of the summer and landed on it pretty hard yesterday on a fdf. The movement is still a little stiff whenever I walk.
