NS how much can you bench?

right now im about to get 225 pretty pumped didn't think i could get this far...weigh 155....what about the rest of yall?

i am 21, been lifting for 7 years, i weighed in at 168 today usually between 167-170, rep 315 for 2 on 5th set, im guessing 1 rep max is between 330-345...i understand ive posted in this thread more than i should, but now im just clarifying my age and weight and my experience, i go to the 6 times a week, twice day on mondays, ive made numerous workout routines for members on here, somewhere between 10-15 id say.

I've been lifting for almost a year and a half seriously. I'm 17 years of age, and like I've said before. I weigh 223 lbs.

School record at my school is 358.

i am 19 and weighed 210lbs in the summer when i close gripped 300. i started working out 4 years ago when i was 140lbs but do not workout during the winter anymore due to snowboarding/skiing. lots of people have a high bench because that is all they focus on and have never entered a squat rack

I bench about 235-245, Weigh 185. But the real question to anyone who is serious, how much do you squat? 405 for reps, never done max rep.

I did 405 for 5, that was after my injury though,and it was ATG. Not fucking deep knee bends.

Im lovin all the nati guys on here. And my weight coach is crazy, back when he played college football for Indiana State he put up over 500 bench and set a school record. I trained under him for 4 years nearly year round so my 270 bench max at the end of last summer is legit. Also got a 455 squat max. O and im 6' and weigh around 195

It is a test of your upper body's max pushing power...kinda like how the squat is a measure of your lower body's max pushing power.

It isnt the end all exercise that everyone should be judged on, heck its not even the one of the 2 best(deads, and squats) but it is pretty darn important.

Back in my hay day my bench max was 240. Now, due to a shoulder injury I can no longer bench press so I do different varieties of push ups to work my chest.

I've kind of been obsessed with working out lately and I'm pretty new to it. I've always done pushups, crunches and curls at my house but never anything at a gym. I've been going for about a month a couple of times a week but for the past week theres only been one day where I didnt go. Is this bad? I try to mix it up not putting too much stress on one thing, but still some people tell me its not good to work out that much if you are trying to build muscle. Is this credible information?

Look up workouts on the internet. There's a wide variety of workouts for different goals: getting in better shape, toned, jacked, etc. Most workouts focus on certain parts of the body on different days to allow you body to rebuild torn muscle tissue. You can go to the gym 7 days a week and be fine

i can bench myself, roughly, plus 5 pounds. i weigh about 155 and my max is 165

buuut i can run a 10k within 3 mins of the women's world record =P
remember that thread about the kid who wanted a sex change cause he was better than the women in the xgames, me too, but so i can train a bit more and set a record.

just maxed out at 345lbs, i coulda done more, but my shoulder is killign me now (i tore my labrum 3 or 4 years ago) and i weigh 170lbs, and im 21 yrs old, here is a video of 335 lbs, for some reason i couldnt get the other one to save to my phone
