The line invader was dope, best ski ive ever owned. why did you take it away? why oh why? Please come out with a new invader. My friends we must fight for what is right, the afterbang just ins't cutting it. come back invader, oh where art thou?

I agree, Line needs to give us back a non "skate deck" park ski. And yes i know the chronics are dope, but i want to see a fully symmetrical park specific ski..

3rd on the Lizzies.
Although the redesigned Bacons do look more promising at least from what i've seen. More centered mount point and a 178cm size both sound good.

K2 disorderly skis are where it was at. Fully symetrical park ski poppy good on jumps sick ass graphics and there was tones

I completely agree.
If you guys are looking for a ski similar to the invader, look at ninthward true twins that are coming out next year. They are a narrow symmetrical ski but have early rise in the tip and tail. They look pretty sweet.

nah bring back the anthem! I soo soo wish i got that over my invaders. DOnt get me wrong i love my invaders but the extra width of the anthem would have come in handy soo many times.

I beat the fucking piss out of my invaders and they simply will not die.  I probably have close to 200 days of abuse on them and they still bend in half, suck on jumps, and hold zero wax.... just like they're supposed to.

Quit your bitching. Line's range is looking good next year. They just need to offer the Prophet/Influence/Pollard range in an additional longer length (192-196), they're missing out a big market there.

Next years step ups are full sidewall, none of that skatedeck crap.

There stiff enough for jumps but still butter around pretty good, 113-88-113 they definitley come in a 181 which are the ones I tried, supposedly 186.

I can find the catalog and find out though.

Its not a big market, you're catering to people 6' and up who are expert skiers, and there are a ton of options already on the market for someone like that.

they are still the skate deck... they just also have sidewalls. they are way better than any step ups or a bangs from the past. i skied them a few weeks ago and they are really fun skis.

I'm totally happy with my Abangs. sure, edges are worn down and the tips and tails have veneer topsheet chipping away, but they work for what they are meant for. I sessioned an urban down rail with a gnarly donkey dick for hours last week, and even with a few bad edge catches and inruns on concrete stairs they show minimal wear from it. I bought these skis for a season of nonstop bashing because they were cheap and nearly 2 seasons later they are still holding up. That's like a bonus season in my mind.

For cheap, light, flexy cap skis, center mount some Masterminds. They aren't symmetrical, but close enough and are a blast to ride. They work great center mounted and still get around the hill just fine.

Well I'll say this seeing as I know J-Lev is likely to hear it: I would buy one or two pairs of Lines if they were 193-195, and have friends who would too. I like what they're doing but 185 won't cut it.

The influence 105 and 115 are some sick skis, as is the 130. If these were available in a 191 they would be the tits.

this i work at a shop and everyday i see majorly fucked up line skis (besides chronics they are god tier). Cant say enough about the awesome sauce that is this years k2 lineup. the domains are basically rockered anthems that will last forever

I wish I could just put this to rest.

Stepup is full sidewall. Construction is called deckwall, its a maple core and sidewall sandwiched between a veneer above and below. The sidewall extends tip to tail. the core extends tip to tail. the veneers extend tip to tail.

IMHO best park ski made. Longest length is a 181, which measures long (about a centimeter shorter than the 184 chronics)

If you ride park more than 60% of the time (or anything that isnt a groomer) they will snap first season guaranteed!

However..

They were incredibly light with Tyrolia Peak 15s. The bases and edges are super durable too. No core shots at all, i skied them down the side of Loveland Pass for like a mile in 1/2 snow 1/2 gravel and just small scratches that base grinded out. I rode proably 50 hard park days and like 25 other days before they snapped and only got 1 edge crack.

next years bacons look promising, definitely buying a pair. though id love to see a ski similar to the anthem come back.

im super skeptical of all these early rise skis. sure they must be great if you live where the snow isn't constantly ice i.e. west and east coast. yes u east coast, you're more spoiled then u think. but for midwest ice skating, idk if i'd want much rocker if any at all.
i still want to be able to carve like a banshee like i can on my lizzies. I have about 250 days on my current pair and there is literally no camber left...completely flat. They're getting a little too dead for my liking, but hey, that's what happens to skis after 2.5 years of hard use. and they continue to be a blast every time i go out

Line, if you bring back an anthem type ski, please please make it regular camber. Keep it simple. Candide can still out shred anyone in the biz w/ reg camber skis.

Depends on what type of terrain you are on, but all of our park athletes (Andreas, Jossi, Byron, Chug, Elias, Riddle..) prefer regular camber park skis. On the hardpack they want the support that full camber offers. But once in soft snow, it's early rise for sure.

Well I have skied around 20 days max on my lizzies and the tips are already rockered a little bit, they are a soft ski, doesn't take long to reduce the tiny bit of camber they have. Also, I can lay my one lifes on edge on straight ice (upper can am at Jay anyone?) and there is only 90 cm of surface contact, absolutely no issue at all. If you are a good skier, you can ski any ski. Plus rocker/ early rise is insanely fun to play around with, and it makes the ski turn super quick, especially in the trees. I have an easier time navigating through tight east coast trees on my one lifes than I do on my 181 chronics, regardless of snow conditions.

Yes in fact I am a massive n00ber. I looked at the book today and yeah its that Deckwall thing, the rep just told me it was sidewall and i couldn't see the layers like in the Afterbang.

So yeah massive fail on my part, on the other hand were the best park ski I tried out by far gonna pick some up next year me thinks.
