Where to go this summer with two months

So here's the deal: I have two full months off work in between graduation and the start of pilot training. Two fully paid months, no work, no responsibility.

I want ideas for where to go (and what to do if you have some particularly sick ideas!) with some friends that I may not have thought of yet. As far as money is concerned....I'm not really concerned. Make it rain, I don't care and I have the means. I've been all over the world so I'm kind of looking for something new. I thought about an around the world ticket, but I'm not as interested in going lots of places as I am chilling in a spot for a while.

To make that money go further, I can fly to these places easily for free: Hawaii-Japan, US, Europe. I can get to a lot of other places but those are more difficult and I don't mind paying for shorter flights.

Here are some very general ideas I have for places I want to go:

-Australia-NZ (would ski in NZ, SCUBA dive in Australia....maybe stay on a boat for a few days)

-Japan

-Croatia for Yacht Week, this is probably happening for sure since we have the boat reserved and I could easily grab a spot.

-Central Europe (with an emphasis in southern France at the beginning of July, probably watch the Alp Du Huez tour stage this year too)

-Might hop on a Mediterranean cruise that hits Israel, Morroco, Greece, or something like that.

Keep in mind that these are places I've lived or visited:

-All but PNW USA

-Europe (lived for 5 years, but happy to return)

-Japan (one month in Tokyo)

-Argentina (one month all over the country)

-Guam (one month)

-Jamaica (since this is so cheap of a trip I wouldn't mind going back to the Carribean for a bit, fuck it maybe just do a cruise down there)

Go to NZ man.
Wanaka is one of my favorite places in world. NZ is great in general.

Its such a beautiful small town with super nice scenery.

Also snowpark is probably one of the funnest parks around.

Europe sucks in the summer but that might just be me, not a fan of the warmth.

NZ/Australia would be amazing if you are looking for a more exotic trip.
I would suggest visiting the PNW, West Coast of Oregon, Washington and up into BC is stunning during the summer. You can do boat cruises around the San Juan islands and in my opinion this is one of the most beautiful places in the world. You could also save bucket loads of cash.

Yep. Rent a camper van and travel all over NZ. You could spend the entire two months there and not get bored.

Australia has some of the nicest scuba diving/beaches out there. NZ can be pretty damn exotic aswell. This is coming from someone who lives in constant rain for 8 months out of the year.

First of all I want to say i am jealous, 2 months paid, then pilot training sounds like the shit!

Some friends of mine went to Japan during the beginning of summer a couple years ago, and they said it was the most fun they've ever had. Sounds like an amazing culture and just a crazy place to go.

I would say like Thailand and India - get some scuba in, make your money go unfuckingbelievably far. But the weather can be fucking awful (but probably OK in Thailand), but the assets, like scuba and shit, may not be too great.

otherwise id just go to europe where you havent been.

if you're already most likely going to croatia, might as well keep in real in that area. Croatia, greece, turkey. That alone could encompass 2 months without any trouble.

See the desert castles and all the other incredible architecture, hike or climb in the mountains of Wadi Rum, see the dead sea, scuba dive. The place looks absolutely amazing and has so much history.

I would hop on over to Europe and stay on the continent just exploring it all with something like a Eurorail (Eurostar?) pass, then make a pit stop in Dubai for some ridiculous luxury before heading over to NZ for some skiing to top it all off.

Man, you have a good life going, though I'm not complaining about mine at the moment!

Im going to school in Switzerland next year. So fucking excited. Defiantly check out Interlaken, Switzerland. Thats where you can do all the crazy things like skydiving, zorbing, wingsuiting, etc.

switzerland is super sick in the summer

i've been there a lot in the winter but a couple years back we went in the summer and it's beautiful up in the alps and the mountain biking is unreal. go in early summer when the hills are still green and it's one of the nicest places you'll go. i suggest heading up into the pre-alps, so not the verbier area but up by gstaad and saanen

Netherlands to Europe (Britain, France, Hungary) to Dubai to Austraila/ NZ and then yacht in the ocean.

Or go somewhere where everything is super cheap, and rent an enormous mansion on the water with boats and jetskis, etc., with a cook, and bring all your friends.
