allright I know there is another thread already but I just want to say that today I was judging the frosgun and Elias and Russ killed it!!!
But the highlight of the day was fritdjof fredericsson on the first hit of the ko system of the quarter final who did a perfect triple cork 14 mute!!!! I know he crashed but everyone was just amazed by his tricks since he grabbed it forever and got the sickest spin ever, like wobble 10 to cork 3!!!! Yeah I know he didn't landed it but for me he got it since he brought it to his feet but landed it way to far so he crashed but anyway congrats to fried to make a triple looks like a dub ten!!!!

Hi,

Will not say it is a trippel my self, more like a late double cork.

Hope people will not hate to much!

Think its possible if I just cork the first 7 more, dont think that will be much more difficult, gonna try for sure.

this if you pause it a couple times and pay attention to what hes doin hes kinda corked at 630 brings it around drops his should to to dub at 7

people here need to stop hating for no reason that trick was def close to a triple  and is very different that the usual double 14.

double wobble is a double cork where on the second cork, the skiers feet don't go above their head. look up LJ's dubs.

Learn to read moron, when did ever say the trick wasn't cool? It was just a dub 14 with held all the way, which is dope. It is not a trip 14 though, not even close.

I agree with frido. Late double cork but actually 10 times sicker than a triple cork. Instead of an ariels trick with a mute it was a super dope progressive rotation. not just anoter spin and flip. Almost on a snowboarders level.

This.  And the definition is stupid anyway.  If someone's feet go over their head, it's not cork.  So we don't need a definition for something that already exist.

These trick names are getting too long and arent too descriptive of the trick the rider is actually doing. I mean a double cork 1440 could be a cork 5 to cork 9, or a cork 7 to cork 7. I think we need to implement some sort of standardization for these trick names, cause cork 7 to cork 7 is still too much of a mouthful.

What about a system where everything is broken down to its component inversion and spin? We could use the the terms 'full' for a the most basic half of a double cork (say cork 5) and build from there - twisting double full mute kinda has a ring to it, no?

At first I thought it was just a dub 14 but then I thought about how if he landed at 10 it would be considered a dub 10 but he ducks back under to 14. Either way its pretty insane.

Nah I wouldn't consider it a dub 10, he only legitimetly goes cork once in the first ten.

everybody needs to realize that when you change axis of rotation it's not always a cork, he starts off straight, does a straight 7, then drops the shoulder then does a dub cork 7
the trick is a late dub cork 14
and i think a late cork is fucking sick, id say cooler than a dub cork

people complain when triples are too flippy, now people complain when theyre too wobbly. i gotta say that a double wobble 10 to cork 3 or late double cork is equally sick/hard

upon further review, i have spotted a pattern in his corking. If you pause at each cork, you can notice that the first cork is only about 30 degrees off axis, the second is almost 60, and the third is a full 90 degrees sideways off axis. Progressive Corking? How.. "progressive"

It looked to me like it was kiiinda triple.

Like the first cork was so fast you cant really see it. He starts it, and his upper body is off axis if you look (like hes going for the grab) and his legs are still on axis. Idk, its weird.

Anyone see that too?
