Epic park fails

Today I was ridin in the park and decided just to do a mute as big as possible off of a somewhat medium sized jump. Then at the peak of the mute I actually pulled my ski right off my boot then ate shit. It was hilariouse.

Anyone else have any epic/funny park fails to share?

my friend was going up a handle tow lift and he decided to go switch. he wasnt looking where he was going though, and he hit one of the poles... both skis popped off and he flew like 5 feet in the air it made my day

i coudn't read that whole thing because the run on sentence in my head was fucking with me.

And, i didn't get enough speed on a jump line, and i knuckeld 4-5 jumps ina row. win

The other day I was practicin 3's down a series of jumps. On the last one when I was rotated far enough around so I could see my landing I saw some kid that ate shit right to the side of where I was gunna land with his pole about 5ft down the landing from me. So I freaked in mid-air and ended up doin a 270, landing on my downhill ski which ended up popping off. Then I continued to slide over my ski (that was facing up - binding felt great - ) and then slid over the kid's pole. I got up, playin it cool,  then grabbed my ski but then looked up to see some other fag go off the jump comin right towards me. I jumped out of the way to avoid a collision.
The kid who went off the jump happened to be some fag who was skiing with me because he was doin my school's bus trip with me and wouldnt leave me and my other friends. He sucks at skiing too - he even rents. But that came in handy cuz I ended up bending my pole but he offered to buy my poles for $10 since he doesnt have any.

I was hitting a C-Box at Northstar the other day and when i came off it I landed just fine and my binding basically exploded, brakes and everything just gone so I had to go chase it down the hill and yeah, pretty embarrassing.

not me but something hilarious that happened to my friend yesterday. he's a snowboarder and we set up this little handrail on campus (just like a 10 stair down rail) shoveled the stairs and everything. took me a couple tries and a couple little screwups but i cleaned it eventually. being his first time ever hitting a handrail, he approached it fearfully and slowly. he 50-50ed the first half and everything was going fine until he started to lose his balance and slide into boardslide. towards the end of the rail, he managed to lose his balance so much that he did half a backflip onto his back off of the rail (mind you onto concrete) and his momentum continued to carry his feet over his head until he did a complete roll and was standing upright again. hahah first stomped back somersault off of a handrail i think.

I did this 3 weeks ago, and then this weekend there was a meduim size jump, whcih everybody was knucklin' on, so I was all like "fuck, I'm gonna bomb this shit"  proceded forward, overshot the entire landing and dropped 15 ft. out of the air onto flat ground, and almost received a concussion from the ground.   Speed check ery budy!

the snow was wet this one day so i was dropping into the jump (like 15 footer not that big) to warm up and since the snow was wet and didnt wax that day i was goin reall slow until i relized half way up the actuall jump i have no speed ,try a 180 nuckle it by like 3 feet bonce backwards eject from both skiis and slide down the landing with g suit on rite under the lift felt like such an idiot

went in to do a battleship box that was stickier than cali kush, and my back ski popped off at the top of the rail. i played it cool and finished the slide with one ski and one boot on the box, but ate shit trying to land. it would have been sick if i rode it out.

FUCK i have a five page paper due in the morning, why am i on newschoolers!?!?!

IIthe other day i was trying  a jump for like a warm up. I didnt get enough speed so i popped and hit the copping. So hard my knees hit my face.i got a black eye,stiff lip,and i was bleeding from my nose descending from the park hahah

last spring at sunday river i went to throw a nollie off a little knoll before the jump line but caught a tip in the mashed taters and ate shit.

Two things. First like five years ago or something i was going off a pretty small like 10 or 15 ft jump and decided to try a 720 for the first time. i got it all the way around but landed really hard while still spinning possibly on the knuckle( i can't really remember if i cased or not) and it broke my brakes and possibly my bindings( once again i can't remember). I then proceeded to ski down the mountain on one ski while carrying my other ski... right as i was turning onto the cutoff to the lower mountain access i managed to drop my ski which went flying down the mountain into the lift line of a lift that you can't get to the base from without taking the lift back up... needless to say the liftys were pretty pissed and i got a nice little lecture about the importance of breaks.

Second last year i was going through my mountains beginner park( the ridge at PCMR) and did a 540 off the second jump... well as i finished up my rotation i noticed some like 8 year old kid in the landing... i tried to hockey stop in front of him, but ended up knocking him over and kind of like grinding over him. I quickly unclipped my skis and rushed up the mountain to see if he was okay and luckily other than a few tears he was fine... that's one kid who will never stand in the landing of jumps again.
