Connecting to x box live help

i cant connect to x box live with a mac for some reason. does anyone know how to fix this easily? I googled it but nothing seems to work and i hate slaying zombies alone lol

If you're trying to use your computer as an internet source, you need to go to network, then select Network Sharing.

sometimes i just have to try a few times, or shut down and try again. sorry if neither of those work for you.

re-setting does more then you think... it re applies for internet "leases" re connects, just re does everything... if you reset to ur defaults, then set up the sharing on ur mac. then re set everything it should be working...

are you trying to connect in an apartment or some other building that has a network that other people might be using? run the network test on the xbox and see what it tells you is wrong

i had quite the time figuring out how to make it work in my dorm room but i eventually did. i had to manually input some of the connection information into the xbox that my mac was using to access the internet. only catch is you might not be able to use your computer at the same time. i can but some people in my dorm can't.

drop like 20 bucks and buy a huge ethernet cable (what i did) or spend like 100 and buy the wireless adapter. i dont have a mac so cant help you there but just offering some other suggestions

I spent a whole day trying to figure this shit out. You have to manually assign your ip into the xbox blah blah blah. http://www.ofzenandcomputing.com/zanswers/358

Thats the tut I used to try and get it to work. I couldn't ever get it to work but maybe you will have better luck.
