Which is the best of the Final Cuts for mac (express/pro) and does anybody have a link for a download?

express is a little easier to learn, pro is better assuming you know how to use it (it was very easy for me to transition to pro after learning express). For future reference, questions like these should go in media and arts, and also you can try using the search bar, as this is a popular topic. If you're having trouble though, I can look for the thread

there's the thread for FCE, just figured there might be some useful info in there on installing or serials and such. There are a few good ones fro pro floating around, though express does give pretty good results and is easier to use. What will you be editing, and how much experience do you have?

Just for little ski edits and school projects, things like that. Don't need any crazy effects. I have some experience with iMovie but I absolutely hate the new iMovie.

ya it sounds like express will be easier/more efficient, because as you mentioned, you won't be doing too many special effects (and i think twixtor even works for FCE, or it would if anyone had a serial). you can do everything right in it, as opposed to using separate programs, and it is a smaller download/takes up less space. You should be set with that link
