So I'm new to park skiing and am starting to hit random features at my local slopes. I've been trying spins and rails. So I was just wondering any advice on how to clean up my tricks? If not, what tricks do you guys think would be okay for a beginner to attempt? All help is greatly appreciated...
while your riding towards the park, practice your 180s, and your 3s off the lil jumps on the side of the trail. Also practice riding switch, and in the park, learn to grind all the diff feature before starting on 2s and whatnot
legs up alittle, try to keep your arms down cuz it just looks terrible if you dont. 180s, then 3s, and do flat boxes and rails first with feet shoulder with apart. rule of thumb for flat stuff is to be right over your skis, but by habit you may start off a little backwards
Yo man just start learning style, learn some 180s, some style tricks on rails and boxs.. who cares if in your first year you cant throw banger tricks.. work on style points and try learning some pretty cool tricks.. just push yourself and dont hold back.. you can get pretty good in one winter if you just have the drive and inspiration to try stuff
i watch like new ski movies and pick tricks i want to try and learn.. it gets me stoked to go throw down and to go progress..
not gona repeat what everyone is sayin up here cus its all the same. 1's, 3's, get your rails solid, learn some style, watch some vids
biggest thing is to get out there as much as you possibly can. you can't get better if you're not on the slopes. also any trick you do try for the first time just remember to always fully commit to it no matter what
