long story short , last week tried backflip landed second try . Had some minor pain to the abdominal region but not that noticeable i kept skiing until today, i tried again stomped it but at the 3/4 of the flip it felt like i did 24 hours of abking pro NON-STOP , damn that hurt ... is it something i'm doing wrong ? i always do backflips ( off the ground , trampoline, etc.) will i ever be able to do backflips again ? did it ever happened to any of you ?
I got this when I first started doing flat ground backies regularly. It's cause you're using mostly your ab muscles to do the flip. But, since you say you've done the a bunch before your body should be pretty used to it, so you might have pulled your abdominal muscle...which hurts a ton, but there's nothing you can do for the most part, just try and take it easy for a few days until the pain subsides.

your laying it out alittle too much. when you go back wards and really stretch it out your abs are stretched as far as possible, and then im guessing that when you quickly bring your feet back up for the tuck its just really difficult for your abs to bring that in from that stretched out position. try to be smoother with how you do it
that i will try thanks for all your tips ;) don't remember if i layed it out too much but the jump we used was a gnarly kicker that shit was like 3 feet tall but got us bout 10 feet in the air, no joke . i'm thinking maybe it was kicking too much and didn't want to overspin so i layed my backflip a bit too much and that's when it started to be painful as fuck -_-
