SO I've noticed a lot of people adding and not commenting (I'm guilty myself), which is kinda the point of a flickr group. So here's what I thought might be a solution. Despite, let me know what you think as it's your group.
1 photo 3 comment rule - every time you want to upload a photo, gotta make three comments - on another person's photo or in a thread, or create a thread. Can't be meaningless, gotta be honest props or critique. I don't think there's any was to enforce it, but I think that it kids legit enough to join and be into it will probably just do it. I'll start it off later today.
Thoughts?

I think one for one would be better, imagine uploading 5 shots youve shot over the last month or so.. thats 15 comments..
Trevor I made you a mod, feel free to post the idea and do what you will to keep it rolling..

Well a way to make it work would be to track how many comments they've made, and then allow the Upload button to be clickable every time they reach three. So if they've made 12 comments and no uploads yet, they would have 4 uploads available.

I think that 1 for 1 would work, but it would be nice if people got in the habit of doing more, for sure.... also rather than 1000 of NS's best shots, I'd rather go through 200 of NS's most epic shots, which is why I thought that 1 for 3 would be good... but that's personal preference.
Thanks for making me a mod Jon! let me know how I can help, or if you had a different idea for it. I checked out the administration settings and didn't see how to set up an upload limit based on the number of comments you make, but maybe I'm just missing it.
I mostly just proposed it as an unspoken courtesy, kinda like using the searchbar before making a thread. I'll post the idea in there too.
