Whats the quality of their jackets and pants? I'm looking to get some new outerwear next year, And i'm compairing products. I like the first drop design with the sleeves and bibs and stuff. But are they worth the money?
I know for a fact my saga sweatshirt wasn't worth the $70 or so i paid for it.
Quality is horrible. I won't say anymore until after i resolve my warranty issue. FD is screwing me hard... Message me and I'll tell you exactly what i mean.
I don't really ski park. I mean yeah i can back flip and front flip. 3 and grind rails but i'd rather be in the powder. And there stuff just doesn't look that warm for those types of conditions.
I heard they are really warm but the waterproofing and quality kinda suck.
I know you hinted that you dont want saga but their outerwear is quality. They are ridiculously waterproof and breathable.
This exactly^^^ Saga is actually colder since it is just a shell, but by a nice warm fleece jacket to wear underneath and your set. Sagas quality is far and above that of First Drop.
First drop is awesome. The coats run big, i ordered an XL and the jacket is pretty long. The ski pants are SUPER big. i normally wear an XL and i had to order a L. The XL's hung way over my heels. The quality is great, but you just need to get the right size. The best part of the jacket is the fact that the sleeves zip off if its a warmer day and you weren't expecting the change in temp.
Myfirstname. Thats suck man, Hope you get your money back or a new suit. To the op, if you ski powder i assume you hike a little or a lot and you need a waterproof jacket. I have a saga jacket ( 5'10 and 150 lbs) i got a large. Its a bit too long but the quality is sick and very windproof. Just buy a h/h warm shirt its like 70$ here in quebec and im toasty all the time .
I think im' going to go with Moment acutally. I know some guys that work there and they sent pics of next years stuff and it looks sick. Plus its meant for powder skiing. So i'm going to just buy that.
I bought a whole outfit from them last year and one of the best things about it is that their stuff is super warm. The little thing around the bottom of the jacket that can sinch(sp?) it up has come out and i sold the pants to some kid on here and he messaged me a few weeks ago saying they ripped super bad. Just lettin you know my experience.
ORAGE best jacket ive owned so warm i wear a thin crewneck underneath and im fine everytime i ride and i realized ive had my vent open all winter so far and didnt noticed til i took off my jacket the other day
