you can't be serious...and if you are, you are probably about to get flamed. how dumb of skiers to take freestyle and mix it with big and natural terrain
Those runs sucked mad dick... They're not hitting any big drops or jumps, and the tricks they were throwing were pretty fucking weak. Same goes for all big mountain comps
maybe if someone groomed out the runs and put some rails in there you could have witnessed their REAL STEEZE.
you're a fucking loner, just like it says under your profile pic.
the guys all said there was a nasty crust on most of the snow in the venue. I think that the top four all had some nice moments of style in their runs... especially Sage and Tim: spinning both ways, solid landings and nice grabs.
Quoting T Hall, "if it were easy, everyone would be doing it."
For the conditions, they are throwing down, even if that is too subtle for you to understand.
The filming was pointing up, meaning it was MUCH steeper than it looked. Given everything, that is great skiing.
If you think big mountain comps are weak....Well you really don't know anything about skiing. Watch the bec de ross contest, at Verbier. If you don't get that you are witnessing skiing at the very highest level, then you really don't understand what good skiing is.
And for the record, the drops they are hitting are much bigger than you probably think they are. Hitting that stuff with crusty landings.....That takes talent.
