Marker Griffon schizofrantic bindings ?

im thinking about buying a pair of skis with these bindings but i dont have my own pair of boots yet. do these bindings act as demo bindings where you can change the sole length on them without re-drilling?

im pretty sure the sole length isnt whats adjusted. it just takes the heel and toe piece and moves it evenly up or down the ski up to 3 inches in total distance.

for example if you wanted to use it more like a demo binding and have different boots fit into the ski then this binding ISNT what you want. it will only change the mount position.

someone please correct me if im wrong on this.

yea they act as demo bindings, but they are really heavy for park, i dont recomend them if thats where your gona be skiing

You're half wrong.

You are correct is saying that they will move the bootcenter forward and back, because thats the point of the schizo system.

They do have a considerably wide range of bsl adjustment.

how much bsl could the schizo adjust. im asking cause my dad has size 28.5 size boot and i have a 31. Could it change that much for boot sizes?

yeah i know i can move the whole binding forward and back 6 cm. My problem is that i dont have a pair of boots and when i do get boots i will grow out of them this season...say next season i get bigger boots, can i easily change the boot sole length?

today my schizo binding broke for no apparent reason, was simply just skiing groomed trails and while going from trail to trail, thankfully I was going to fast, my binding broke and sent me flying forward into a tomahawk tumble down the run. Long story short the clamp that holds the binding to the rail on the binding just broke in half and sent me forward. DO NOT BUY THIS BINDING. I used mine 3 times and there already broken...
