So i finally got myself a new pair of skis and everybody knows about the pain with dulling the edges.
I cry a little inside when I have to rasp my skis.
I talked with a friend of mine who snowboards about how its a pain in the ass to catch on rails cause of the edges. He said that he never had that problem cause of his board, apparently he got bronze edges on his board. Bronze is softer and is easier to dull and wont catch on rails (that's how i get it).
This was the first time ive ever heard of bronze edges and i thought it was revolutionary for park skiis.
Why havent any skicompanys done this? Or have they?
Up's and down?
It wouldn't work with skis as well because of how we use edge pressure. They would be would be completely destroyed in less than a month because they wouldn't be able to stand up to the abuse. Also most snowboard companies, like Rome, have gone away from using bronze because it wasn't lasting as long.

scissoring would destroy bronze.

There's no reason that, you know, like nine and ten year old kids shouldn't be growin' beards. Its all in your mindset, I don't know what their problem is, personally. -Josh Bibby

Diamond edges are where its at....
BUT WUT IF U HAF 2 DTOON?
there would be so many problems. it is not as durable as steel, so it would crack, probably end up pulling out, and it would get worn down too quickly.
people want their edges dull, but bronze would get too dull to even ski on
