Quick Question about Marijuana.

Ok so I have been smoking for roughly 5 months not very often, like once or twice a week. But lately I started to noticed that I'm starting to get sick like the day after I do it. I get fatigue, headache, and I feel like I'm going to pass out. Any answers for this?

Also how many of you have told your doctor that you do it, should I?, is it even worth it?

what are you eating while high? the only times i feel bad the next day are when i drop $15 at taco bell(happens more then you would think for me hahaha)

Usually fast food but when it happens i usually haven't had much to eat that day, and if i did eat that day it wasn't very nutritional.

The doctor cannot tell your parents without your consent. However if you live in the US you're covered under their insurance and they'll know you went to see a doctor, if you get any prescriptions, they'll know about that too.

this is what i thought. also, i feel like talking to your doctor would be pretty pointless. he probably won't be trying to give you tips on a successful stoner. i'm pretty sure any competent doctor would tell you that if you feel shitty after smoking you should just stop smoking.

I dont think it's the weed that is causing it you said it only happens after you haven't eaten much or just fast food and i would say that is the culprit. I would say just eat well everyday especially if you're going to be smoking.

Yeah, I don't know if you should tell your doctor, because unless he's really cool, his advice would most likely just be to stop smoking. However, that is not what you want to do... correct?

It shouldn't be making you sick, but you may have a weak immune system and/or you may be eating things that do not go over well with you while high.

I'm currently sick, and I haven't been smoking because my throat has been sore and I have gross phlegmy (ew) stuff. If you feel like you have a cold, don't smoke because cotton mouth and such won't make you feel so great after the high wears.

Headaches can happen to some people though. Just take a couple Advil or Tylenol in the morning, and you should be ok.

definitely nutritional issues. Wether I've been smoking or not, I notice that my body feels better in general when I've been eating healthier.

Please explain to me whats so bad about marijuana besides the fact that it's illegal. Is it that it is proven to stimulate brain cells, doesn't cause cancer what? I smoke and maintain roughly an 87 average in all my classes. So clearly it doesn't make people stupid, but no assholes like you that have probably done no research couldn't say the same because you already have your mind set.

I can see where your coming from.
BUT I have also seen what the effects are on a first hand perspective and by just seeing classmates and others abuse this drug (which I don't do by any means), I have made a promise to myself that I will not go into anything harder.

Okay you two should stop bickering back and forth like 12 year old brothers. Obviously if you are feeling shitty the next day and you can definitely connect it with using marijuana the previous day, then you should stop, or slow down. I dont believe that it really damages the brain, but the only research done on it says that it can interfere with very specific parts of your brain, and that would be smoking at age 16 or before, not before 20.

I really hate to say it man but hes right. I started smoking weed when i was 16, im 17 now.
Now, whenever i have it, i smoke it everyday. I have no problem taking breaks, and days without dont bother me whatsoever.

But when I've got it, im gonna smoke it. Doesnt matter if its the 20th day in a row which kinda sucks, but thats just how it worked out.
I still really enjoy weed so i dont plan on quitting any time soon, but ive decided to tone it down to 5 days a week.
Didnt have any last night, and the first night off is always really hard because all I wanna do when im bored is smoke weed, but after that 1st night, its really easy to not think about it.
It's a work in progress, but i feel very lucky that I have the ability to just stop whenever I want. I have to go through that 1 night, but after it, im done. For some reason i always come back to the herb though haha.

You may think you have power of the herb, but eventually you'll enjoy it so much you want to have it everyday.

I use to be just like you when i was 16, 1 maybe 2 times a week, never more. You'll change as you get older, and something inside you will tell you it doesnt matter if you blaze everyday, its your life.

Sometimes i regret starting even though i enjoy it quite alot. I believe everything people say too and i truly believe itll fuck me up in the long run, atleast somehow, im just not sure how.

For some reason that hasnt stopped me from smoking it, but one day it will. I only can see myself blazing until im 18, after that high school is over and ive got a life to live.

But until then, ill get high as fuck whenever i want, and i dont care what anyone thinks.

Also from what I posted, to NUGGET, youre wrong in the sense that I never have, and never will have the urge to move on to harder drugs. Im totally content with weed.

It does all i need.
I have no urge whatsoever, and sometimes even still wonder why people would even bother thinking about buying, let alone actually buying harder stuff. It's useless and will only fuck you up.

To the OP low grade herb will often have that effect on people, really harsh down period and headaches. your 15 your not gonna get medical grade shit, but try to get better shit from someone a bit older that you can trust. and dont worry about all the brain damage mumbo jumbo.


dont smoke cigarettes that shit is what gives marijuana smokers cancer. not the sweet thc that they also  smoke!

Tips for a good cannabis adventure
- healthy food (not all the time, but mix it in)
- Do something other than watch TV
- Smoke good weed, its worth the extra dough

And you are just about the age where its safe develop-mentally to start smoking, so keep it to a minimum.

I'll bet good money that your friends where going to be fuckups whether they started smoking or not. Maybe they got into gambling, maybe they started doing drugs. It depends on the person. A person that isn't going to succeed in life anyway, who then starts smoking weed, then harder drugs doesn't mean jack shit.

Lol zak, me and donyo were somewhat talking about it. And we are almost positive it is because you don't eat anything and you don't drink anything because you always do it at the mt. so it's harder/more expensive for you to acquire these things. And don't tell your doctor it's pointless.

here's the thing about smoking weed and my source is a phd professor so there's no denying it. first of all it makes you dumber while you smoke it and at least twenty four hours after. also, you do not sleep properly when your high, usually your body drifts betwen REM and deep sleep but when you are high you will either sleep  very lightly, or just stay in deep sleep which is fucked up for your body. You will not get as good a rest and will feel shittier the next day which probably helps explain OP's problem.

As for the stupid part i've seen so many kids just get dumb off smoking weed (note that as far as i know the stupidity is temporary once your off the drug for a bit) You ever notice that the next day after smoking weed you stutter and are often dislexic with words and shit? yeah. I've seen so many kids that just cant even voice what they are thinking in thier head after smoking weed. Like the kid who always ends up retardedly physically acting out what he is thinking or the kid who just says stupid sentimental shit. Basically you become that retarded stoner kid. 

Seen it happen to my brother, several friends and myself.

as for permanent damage i was sixteen when  i smoked the most, smoked a grip from sixteen to seventeen along with my friends and one of them is sure he has permanent brain damage. I am pretty scared of it myself as well but that might also be from concussions...

thirdly as far as weed being a gateway drug this is true too. Everyone I know that smoked has tried harder shit as they got older, i.e. molly,e, lsd, shrooms.  But yeah this is probably not a whole lot to worry about because as long as these drugs are not frequently used they're really not harmful or addictive

seen a few kids move on to coke and shit but thats a different story.

well when ur really baked fatigue kinda automatically happens. i sometimes feel sick because i eat and drink soo much junk that eventually creates a magma of diarrhea. i would just say pop a advil drink alot of water and keep eating to a low at least less junky shit.

my moms a doctor and she cant tell me anything about her patients unless the patients give consent.
but i also smoke and my doctor is work partners with my mom so even if i did tell my doctor my mom would find out somehow.

but i would go into a walk in free clinic if you are super worried about it.

To be honest, I usually have that "burnt out" feeling the next morning, like really tired, spacey and out of it, but it doesent usually last too long. I've never had a headache in the morning, but I've heard that drinking water before you go to bed can help
