How do you make sequences? Can you make them with photoshop?

just cut and paste with photoshop. When i cut out the skier I like to cut out something that stands out that's supposed to be in the picture still like a tree or ice chunk. It makes it easier to fit stuff together.

yeah, export it into quicktime then you can get good shots that are visible and just copy from there

- Choose a background frame (the one where any onlookers look best)
- Drag the rest of the frames onto the background each in their own new layer
- Align all the frames to the background by setting the opactity down (a lot easier if the camera is still for all frames)
- In each frame except the background, mask everything except the skier and any snow trails behind them. There are a few ways to do this. I create a layer mask for the frame then draw an outline round the skier then fill everything outside the circle

The best way is to experiment yourself and find out what works for you.

are you using iMovie? if ya then you go to File>Share then click on Quicktime at the top and choose full quality DV

Just capture frames at regular intervals - depends what package you're using. Then de-interlace each frame in Photoshop (Filters > Video > De-interlace I think), and then do what I said above.

make sure you use a tripod when filming so the background doesnt move

ya that's my problem, the kid that films for me is an idiot.But i'm starting to figure it out, thanks for the help.

in some rare occasions you might have to maybe change the size a little to compensate for camera pan. If you pan too much, you may get this problem, where the center frames are a great deal bigger than the outside ones:
