So i'm going to a rave tomorrow...

Im going to a rave tomorrow and they're not serving alcohol, no ins and outs and full body pat down so cant sneak it in easily. I'd prefer to just drink, but pre-gaming is the only option for that, and this thing goes from 9pm-7am so it wont last long enough. I have a reputable source for E though. I've never done it before, but i know quite a bit about it, and decided that i'd prefer to stay away. Staying sober would be ok too, but not ideal...What other options are there, and in your experience, is taking E worth it?

I'm going to Together As One tomorrow. Was going to skip it because dubstep is lame but I got a free ticket, stoked to see Pendulum for the millionth time and Laidback Luke for the second time. IMO, its not worth going to a rave without taking E, and its not worth taking E without going to a rave. My advice would be to stay away from raving and E all together. I've seen people turn themselves in to straight retards.

I tried going to a rave and just getting really, really drunk one time. It was ok. I had a good time because it was my buddy's rave and I got in for free and knew all the security, but I would have been well pissed if I had paid $90 + $9 per beer or whatever ridiculous prices raves are now.

if you can find molly or mdma do that. e or x or exctacy, what ever you call it is usully cut with bad stuf. molly is pure mdma. thus better. (if a narcotic can be good this it it.)

I rolled once before on Molly... which is similar to E. If your gonna do E, make sure to do a few things..

1) most E pills have names. Look up the name on pillreports.com first and see if anyone has written a report on it. Most of the time you will find your pill and you can see if it was good or bad or laced with some shit. (dont worry tho almost all of them are fine)

2) Drink a fuck ton of water.... you cant bring any in they wont let you... but buy a cup (it may cost a lot, i once paid 5 dollars for a 12 ounce water.) but just refill that shit as much as you can. 

3) I was hella nervous before i did it... and some raves can be sketchy but dont worry just make sure you have an open attitude.

In all seriousness though, I'd go with MDMA, much cleaner than e. And yes, stay hydrated. Chew gum too, since you tend to grind your teeth.

Dress code: Wayfarer sunglasses, flat brim hat, flannel and jeans. Then you'll look like everyone else!

I knew it was one or the other..

To OP too, if you get your stuff in the rave, make sure you know what you're getting and the guy is "with it". I made that mistake once, was at a outdoor rave, did some MDMA and kept getting more and more from this one guy, turns out he was wasted, and had three identical, unmarked bags with him. one being MDMA, another being Special K and the last being cocaine.... The combination of those was incredible, after I puked of course. Body went completely numb, could have slept on a bed of pointy twigs. /cool story. (it's one for the grandkids)

There is a SHITLOAD you need to know about these drugs, so please ask me if you need to know more. You need to understand what it does to your body, and you need to know what you're actually buying.

You should take vitamins before and after the event, and see if you can drink some OJ or something. Since the first trip on E hits you the hardest, make sure to drink plenty of water, because it's rally easy to get caught up in dancing the night away.

If you go the pill route, be careful, as others have posted. Most of the pills I have taken have been cut with something, usually some sort of amphetamine (I don't mind that though, to be sketchily honest with you). Some pill just suck as well, sometimes containing no MDMA at all.

If you go the molly route, make sure you're getting MDMA/MDA. I don't know about your area, but in NY, I have been seeing Mephedrone being sold as molly. Meph is a research chemical that produces a similar high, but it has a shorter duration, and isn't nearly as good. Mephedrone is usually a fluffy white powder, which is different compared to the 'shardy' consistency of MDMA/MDA. I could tell you more, but all you really need to know it that you don't want to do it.

if you do roll at the rave i promise you won't regret it at all, in fact you'll probably be extremely glad for the experience. but do not, by any means, let it become a habit. honestly just doing it once could very well be the best choice, or keep it to a very small frequency.

watching people e-tard themselves is depressing and scary. a person's brain that cannot utilize serotonin without mdma leaves the person as an empty shell of a human being. nothing bad will happen from one time, but that drug can do dire things to your brain if you let it.

Some people (and when I say some people, I mean that my uncle developed schizophrenia and anxiety disorder that was onset from a ONE time use of Ecstasy. He is now 56 and has been in a wheel chair since he was 17 because of a poor decision he made on that same trip) just don't have the correct chemical characteristics in their brain to physically deal with these kind of drugs. A old guy I work with went into a random psychiatric fit last year, the last one involved a sexual harassment charge and it was all because the chemicals from drugs like LSD, ecstasy, (mdma in this case) ect get stored in a gland at the top of your spinal cord and can be released years later, causing radical changes in your hormone levels (says my 6th year med school student sister)


No matter who you are it will seriously effect you in one way or another, depending on who you are this may be more or less physically evident at the time, but please get at least a LITTLE educated before you decide to try it.

I do believe in trying things, but there are limits. And yes, read and learn as much as possible before you do things. Its just smart. Take baby steps into things, you can always go back for more....

Honestly the scariest part is most of the time you dont know what exactly you are getting into until you eat it hehe. I can tell you plenty of times I have gotten bad goods, and yea they were from reliable people (but the person who that person who that person got it from probably wasnt..see what I mean?) People are into this to make money, and some will do whatever necessary to get some extra cash


here are some facts though:

1. LSD drips cerebral spinal fluid down your spinal cord.
2. Most MDMA is cut to about 20% purity and is filled with things such as (adderall, ibuprofen, coke, ect..)
3. same with the white lady
4. The chemicals and molecules in your brain are in fact changing during a HARD ecstasy trip/with LSD. Your brain will be chemically different and it will stay this way
5. Hallucinogens are not physically addictive substances (unlike the white lady, opiates, anti-depressants, and alcohol)

some false's
1. if you take LSD or ecstasy more than 5 times you will go crazy
2. alot of the tv interpretations of drugs are over-exaggerated to bring out the fear in people, or to make them laugh


most of the time the horror storys you hear from drugs come from inexperienced people and drugs that have been tampered with, why it pays to know your shit.


Regardless of what you do, here are some helpful tips

1. go with friends, stay with friends, let them know what youre up to (if you have to hide it from em, then dont do it)
2. let someone who isnt going know, just in case
3. drink loooots of water before, during, and after. It helps alot (mainly refering to Lucy and Molly)
4. Vitamins always make things a little better too
5. Vitamin C increased colors/visual effects during trips. Not to a significant amount though
MOST IMPORTANT!!! Just remember its short-lived and will wear off. Every time someone I know has a bad time/trip is starts w/ them either taking more than their limits or they lose consciousness with the fact that they are under the influence of a drug and begin to freak out. Just stay calm and keep reminding yourself that.

hope this helps from a rave/concert/dubstep junkie to a newcomer. Raves/dubsep shows are some of the most intense, crazy times I've had. They are awesome man

Yes, definitely make sure your friends know what you are doing and make sure AT LEAST one of them is sober. In relation to my first post, my uncle is a paraplegic because he jumped off of 3 story building thinking he could fly.

Thanks for the responses everyone, some good info on here which lines up to what i've read on erowid, and some other good tips as well. I do trust the guy whose selling them, i've seen him on the exact same pills and was acting like he was on E, loved touching stuff, cuddling (not with me, lol) and big pupils, so im quite sure these pills do have mdma in them. But i decided its not worth it. im just going to pregame it and stay sober for the rest, i do love electronic music so i think it will still be good, and the pregaming will help me get over that awkward stage when you first start dancing. That being said, i still want to have this experience at least once in my life, so if i ever find some pure MDMA i will definitely consider it.

If they do find it you should have a strong sexual harassment case in your favor.

Hopefully people didnt scare you away from this. I'm not saying go for it either, b/c the worst thing you can do is get pressured into taking things when you're not comfortable (perfect scenario for bad trip/bad first experience that will turn you off forever). I've been with several guys this year who have had their first Molly experience w/ me and I can say that none of em had a bad time/experience.


Best way for me to describe molly to you. Its just like a good day when you're super pumped about something, or just landed a new trick on your skis ect... Take that feeling and add it to a soundtrack of some of your favorite songs that just absolutely get you amped and mix em all together. It's kinda like that.

Let it be noted that w/ molly you can start to reroll sometimes fairly soon after you have taken it (like the next day). Usually is triggered by something, it wont just happen out of the blue. Someone I know does it when they smoke weed fairly soon after. Its not really intense, they can just tell its happening. Mostly its just from taking a minute amount of molly again. I've also seen someone trigger into a reroll harder than the night before after only taking a little bump.

*Also, rolling in class is not awesome (refer back to my reroll story from above)

no this is horseshit. you can have sex perfectly fine after fucking on E, it's just way more fun while on one.

one piece of serious advice, always use a condom when fucking rave sluts. ALWAYS. they are dirty girls you really don't know whose been in their pussy before you. with that said, they are a lot of fun and can be pretty chill just don't get caught up with them.
