it says in the video description its 185 but Im not sure if it actually is.

even though this is old and i have seen it a ton of times, it is still absolutely ridiculous. i wouldnt doubt it was 185 ft. I don't mean to laugh here, but did anyone notice the ski patroller falling at :59?
also, it was sorta funny seeing this thread right under the one of his huge double off the crazy cliff....

What about his question makes him really young? Or are you just making an unrelated observation after checking out pictures in his profile (which I haven't). I guarantee I'm older than you, but I have wondered about this one off-hand since I bought the dvd the year it was released. Is that distance a measurement from the takeoff to the beginning of the landing, or where it was expected Wilson would land? I honestly always thought it was more likely that someone simply eyeballed it, guessed a big number, and everyone went with it.... pretty standard practice in our sport (with no discredit intended toward Wilson).

It is not because of the wilson hype, it is simply because I was showing my friend the mike wilson quad flip.
