movement Joystick mounted on the line with look PX12 176cm i think,
got them second hand for 100euro, been riding them for 2y now, edges are rounded like no other, tips have delaminated (fixed with epoxy and some rivets) but imho the things are bulletproof, still no edge cracking, topsheet is in mint condition ( some chips, but all superficial) riding park and jibbing is superfun, ice is scary as fuck (when i hit an icepatch, i slide down like mcconkey on waterskis skiing bella coola)
the topsheets are funky and they have this sweet amount of tiprocker that came with the years, i just love my babies, wouldn't wanna lose em....
second skis are scott p4s 181cm mounted 2 back with marker m14.0 free bindings (108mm underfoot)
so far i've had 2 coreshots, both tips delaminate, 1 tip broken, both fixed with epoxy + rivets, binding ripped out twice, last repair was done by myself and they hold up well !
the skis are heavy as fuck, but they charge everywhere, they have a GS sidecut and are super stiff, so on groomers i can shred as hard and as fast as i can and the ski will remain stable..
in pow/crud they dominated through their weight and surface, crud is actually quite enjoyable because you know how bad the snow is, but you can still ski through without any probs....
i've done my ski-instructor course on these babies and my instructors all told me i'd better ski on some regular carvers that weren't 181cm tall...
i ignored them all and out of a class of 25 candidates i was the only one who graduated first try, no re-tests :) (i was also the only one riding twintips ...)
even if these babies break, they get a spot in my garage, they were my first ever twintips and i've experienced some great runs on these babies, i <3 em !
