interesting fact:

we all know that thugs, gangsters, hard core motherfuckers, etc (i fucking hate that song) sag their trousers. but why? its a well known fact that inmates will often (for lack of a better term) fuck each other in prison. and the origin (allegedly) of this trend (the pants sagging, not the male fucking, thats a whole nother story all together, but fell free to ask me about it) is by showing off their underpants to other inmates, it was a sign that they wanted to get it on.


my theory for the origin of tall tees is so thugs could sag their pants to look gangsta, but not advertise that their butthole is open for business.

Bahahaaaa the sig for the end was good. But another theory for the sagging is that it was mandatory.. Gangsters pants sagged when they carried their guns, hence the gangster image of pants being sagged.

Yeah, that's false.

It actually started because guards took inmates belts away from them so they wouldn't kill them selves, or other people. So their pants started to sag because they didn't have belts. To solve that issue they gave them those big ass orange onesies.

Actually, it started in Harlem (possibly other hoods, but mainly Harlem) where kids would wear their brother's old clothes, so the bigger the jeans, the bigger the brother was. It was a "don't fuck with me" thing.

I know how they originated. Black families in the ghetto couldn't afford clothes for each kid separately, so they had to share. The clothes had to fit the biggest kid, so they bought clothes that size. Then, when the little kids wore the clothes, they were huge, like tall-t's and baggy pants. Eventually, they started to realize the benefits of big clothes, which made it easier to steal stuff and pack a gat. Once they realized the advantages, they bought everything huge. Rappers were in this trend as well, and when white suburban kids started listening to ghetto beats, they started imitating their clothing style, and took it to free-skiing. The trend is funny because rich white kids are paying a ton of money for huge clothes, when the trend originated because of a lack of money. Boom.
