It's Detroits fault. They played pussy-D that last play. As soon as O'neil touched the ball they should have fouled him. Putting him at the line. Even IF he somehow made them both it would have been Pistons ball, up by one with 5 seconds left. The pistons blew that one...but it does suck.

first off all of the media, including the announcers, want the lakers to take it all. its pretty obvious because they have been biased throughout the playoffs. shit even the refs let alone the comisioner (sp?) want the lakers to win.

the reason the pistons didnt foul shaq was that on that time out before the play they were planning on dfish, kobe or rush to take the inbounds pass. it was genious of phil to give it to shaq.

pistons should have one most definitally but there is no way an east conf. team will take the ship. not going to happen for a few more years anyway.

hey, nobody excpected them to win one game, let alone lose the second because of a last second shot, so i'm actually pretty optimistic. All they need to do is win 2 out of 3 at home and they have a good shot at it.

they get three in a row at home, although home court advantage hasnt really meant much in these playoffs so far. i8 just hope they can keep playing like they have the last two and just close it out. they're defying everyone's expectations, need to keep it up.

yeah, he definitely didnt. why do you think he took a paycut to play in LA?
i think the pistons are looking pretty good so far in this series. everyone's saying they need to recover from game 2, but it's the lakers who need to recover. in game 1 rip was inneffective for the most part, sheed out most of the game, shaq and kobe lit it up, and LA had home court advantage. AND THE PISTONS STILL WON. then in game 2 the pistons came back from an 11 point deficit with their big men in foul trouble and lost the game simply because they didn't foul shaq. detroit has been the better team so far and now their going home for three in a row. the lakers are looking more like an underdog at this point, especially now that malone's an uncertainty.
