haha you know what i'm talking about
i missed 2 homeworks and my grade went from maybe a 93 to a 67
1 or 2 grades got added in, it went up to a 79 and my parents still wouldn't let me go
it was with my school's ski club too >_>
now i have to make the lyrics of a jack johnson song about english class to get extra credit
hoorah for bullshitting points!

oh i know right man! much better biomed engineering program, second best research in the nation behind MIT, and a full scholarship that would keep me from taking out 40k in student loans every year.. Youre right man wtf was I thinking

did you even read my above post? ^ both of my parents are retired and therefore cannot pay for me to go to a 40k dollar school. I got a full scholarship to utah and am already doing research my freshman year.. they also have a MUCH better program than yale and I didnt like duke when i visited so Utah was by far the best option.. I had a 4.4 gpa in hs and got a 34 on act (perfect subscore).. i know why it sounds ridiculous but it really was the best option

36 is a perfect score and a "superscore" is when you take the best scores from all of your tests, so therefore yes I did have a perfect "superscore".. nice try though, oh and quite frankly i dont really give a shit if you believe me or not, im still gonna be the biomed engineer making 10x as much as you

Must say I agree with you. I know a couple kids in my school that got accepted into Ivy-league schools, but couldn't go because of the money factor. Especially in todays times, kids will go where they get the most money. It isn't simply about the factor of what the best school is.

On another note, it doesn't matter where you went for your undergraduate degree nearly as much as it use to; now, it is all about the MBA.

But I'm stoked and yes, it's so worth it right now to be skiing when I worked my ass off rather than going skiing instead of slackin' and going skiing anyway. :D

Most pre-med students pick engineering as a supplement to their pre-med status, and as someone who wants to get into biomedical engineering (key prefix=med), pre med is a pretty logical assumption.You dont know anything about me and to call me out and try to say i didnt accomplish something like getting into yale when you have no idea who i even am makes it seem like youre the bitchy kid
- Never called you out for not accomplishing. I called you out for making a stupid, and frankly, RETARDED life choice. You think you wouldn't be able to pay back the 160k as a biomedical engineer? You make more and have a statistically higher chance of entering a prestigious grad school because of a good undergrad school.
You're just getting all teen-angsty and not making sense. I'm 20 and i've been through 3 majors, settled on 2, and am an awesome person. You'd do well to take my advice. Call me up if you need a job while I run a business part time for 30k this summer.

congradulations on your accomplishments.. bottom line is that yale isnt all holy for every major, in fact they arent even in the top 25 for my major, something that Utah is in. Utah has the second best research in the country for biomed, which sets me up to get into GRAD school at stanford which is also in the pac-12 meaning I have a better chance.. you should research biomed engineering, because is is definately not just pre-med, in fact im trying to get my phd and go into tissue engineering, meaning i would probably never get my Md unless i wanted it at a future time. And i appreciate your job offer, i really do, but im working in a research lab this summer so i can put it on my app for grad school.. oh and by the way i didnt get anything wrong about the ACT, i said i had a perfect SUPERSCORE, which i did.. I got a 33 the first time i took it with a 36 in both math and science, then got a 34 the second time with a 36 in the english and reading, therefore i did have a "perfect superscore"
