Don't take life for granted

Two days ago, my mom and I got into a fight. She started attacking me, insulting me and everything I stood for, the whole deal. After that she kicked me out of the house with no coat, no shoes, nothing, for over an hour. Do you know what it's like to be kicked out of the house in 10 degree weather by your mother? I just lost it. I went back inside and I was told I am leaving. No time to say goodbye to your friends, not even my best friend. In about an hour's notice, I was driven to a rendezvous point and my grandparents picked me up. All of this was around twelve o' clock at night and not only was I driven to that point, my mom just left me there. Three or four people asked me what the hell I was doing out this late with my bags. I just replyed "Life's a bitch, isn't it?" I cannot explain to those who don't know what it's like to not be loved by your own parents and how it affects you. I hope none of you have to go through this and to those who have, I feel absolute sympathy for you. I am currently Living in Scarborough, ON with my grandparents and for the most part, I am extremely happy here. It's a hell of a lot better than the foster home she threatened to put me in.

Not to downplay your situation here but you just came home and didn't do anything wrong whatsoever and your mom just came in and started screaming at you then kicked you out of the house? I know parents can be unreasonable sometimes but there has to be more to this story...

I dont know about canada, but parents are legally obligated to care and provide for their children, despite how much of an ass you might be.

I haven't done anything wrong really, other than being lazy a couple of times but that's normal. I have 4 other brothers and sisters and I am just the hated one of the family. I don't know why, I just am.

Yesterday my mom started tO freak out and yell at me for no reason so I just got up from the dinner table and said I am not eating with you if your yelling at me and I left. She calmed down I went downstairs acted lime nothing happened and continued to eat. Later she apologized to me. But ya it sucks to have parents yelling at you and shit.

Well, we can sit in a room together, but as soon as I say something it's automatically wrong or disgusting to her. I can't really explain in it depth too well, but usually starts with a normal disagreement, then she starts yelling at me. I  try as hard as I can not to yell back to see if the tension will cool down, but she just won't stop usually. After a certain point, I usually try to leave and that's when it starts getting bad physically. Sometimes she's drunk when it happens, and at other times she's completely sober, so I don't think that has much of a factor in it. That's about all I can tell you.

thats what im sayin, it just seems kinda strange to me that parents who have 4 other kids, and who treat these kids well by the sound of it, just start hating their last kid for no reason whatsoever dont you think?

I literally am not an asshole, and both of my grandparents agree. They know my mom has deepset problems with me in general and they are always telling me to not listen to a thing she says bad about me.

still, people have had their kids take away over a spanking when the kid was clearly out of line. It would be easy to get her with abuse of a minor. I am not saying you should go that route, but if she really did step over the line (which it sounds like she did, regularly) then you could go that route.

this seems like kind of a harsh option, but sue the shit out of her. you're only 15 years old, pretty sure the guy was right when he said she's legally obligated to care for you. get child service, get something, but she's not allowed to do this shit, get what you deserve out of her.

Honestly, I am not sure why you are all upset. Yeah, it sucks to be thrown out in that way, it sucks to not be able to say by to your close friends and maybe your other brothers and sisters. I am not sure how far away your grandparents live from where your mother does, to be able to see your buddies. i would look at it like this, it seems you are not treated like you should be or feel you should be, it seems that you get picked on by your mother and she has some issues of her own. Be happy to be out of that situation and be in a place where loved ones think highly of you. Think of this as a posative move forward. You will only be held back living in the type of household where you are always blamed and put down. maybe after the situation clears, you can try to be your moms friend or just call and talk to her about nothing. It's a start. For now, be stoked to be out of that situation. That's my two cents.

he's probably upset because the person he was raised by and should be closest to rejects and hates him. He's fifteen, still a kid and can't legally get out on his own and hasn't had anything close to a normal childhood. He's just getting into a good situation and he's starting to adapt to, but there will always be that memory of his mom. And it is a fresh memory. I know when I got close to some other friends and hung out with them it was incredibly alien to see a normal family. So that's a pretty ignorant statement for you to say. From the sound of it you have never had anything worse than your parents not buying you a certain set of skis you want happen to you

Good luck with everything man. It's definitely a tough situation to be in. Having a rough family life sucks, but on the bright side, it makes you much stronger than most people. You develop an immense amount of patience and the capacity to deal with an amount of adversity that most people would crumble under. My mom doesn't hate me, but my parents don't have the best relationship and that has trickled down to me and my siblings many a time. I'm older now and basically out of the house and about to finish college, so I'm looking to the future. One day I hope to provide a better kind of family life for my own children so they can focus on being kids and not having to grow up so fast. Other tips, find friends whose families treat you like one of their own, or a girl that makes you smile.

moms can be fucking insane, id consider mine a pretty nice and happy person, but there are times where she just flips shit over absolutely nothing, and goes around the house yelling at people and shit.

ive got two friends with moms that literally are crazy, one has severe depression, drinks all the time, but acts like the happiest person ever, she's always super nice and excited. but its so easy to tell that its all completely fake.

another friends mom got home from a vacation they were on for like 3 weeks, he was outside when they arrived, she just walked right by him not saying anything and didnt look at him once.
the next day the first thing she said to him since he got back was. "did you feed the dogs every day?"

so basically every woman is like destined to become a complete psycho bitch at sometimes in their lives.
hopefully your mom will get over it.

Actually, I buy my own things. I own my own home and my own truck that I payed for myself. i was not trying to bash the kid. I was saying he should look at it as a more positive way and make the best of it. So that is pretty ignorant of you to assume things about me. :-)
