I need to upload a picture to my gallery how do i do it. +k for help and bumps

Its very easy. Go to your profile, Click on pictures and look under where should be a small add right above a scrollbox with recent pictures that have been uploaded should be a box that says upload a picture. Click on that and you are all set.

No, you're not.

You need to make sure you place it in the correct category, and if you don't want to do that, upload it as private. =)

Aaaaand funny enough...I left out that it's much easier than what you said. If you just click Pictures from the black navigation bar, "Upload photo" is on the right.
