Are some park skis lighter than others? I have 09 silencers and they seems heavier than some new skis i've tried out.

Either that's sarcasm or you've never felt a light ski before.
09 and earlier Silencers are really heavy (I have a pair of 07s and they're one of the heaviest skis I've owned)
JO Pros are probably the lightest park ski I can think of, LTEs and No Times/Nine Lifes are also crazy light.

I think mine will last okay, no edge cracks yet. I did have some minor delam but an expoxy job fixed that. Bases aren't quite as durable as my last pair of skis but whatever I'm pretty happy with them.
