i don't think any rational person tries to claim "its good for you so everyone should smoke everyday." there are just so many negative side effects attributed to weed that simply aren't true. cannabis can be good for you in some ways and has been proven to have favorable medical benefits. just like red wine has benefits to your heart if not consumed in excess. no one is forcing marijuana on anyone, but no one can say its this harmful scary drug, because it isnt.

ok go up to your local pot head and ask him ho his lifes turning out. pot is never something to say thats good think about it usually you are burning a weed and then in haling the smoke it may be "all Natural" but smoking it is not natural humans have never been designed to in hale smoke. the causes in the long run of long term pot use and be sever. why is this stuff on NS there is 14 and 15 year olds on here they come on here and see that there is nothing wrong with smoking a joint so they do it i just wanna know why its on here

i have. lived with a kid at UW who smokes everyday and is chemical engineering major. this major only accepts about 100 students each year, and he is in the top like 5% of students in the major. smartest kid i ever met. loves pot. pot doesn't make him any smarter, he is just smart. but it also didnt make him dumber either.

right, that's why i was a straight A student and have a great job now. and why the two people i blazed with every week in high school were the valedictorians of each of their schools. and why literally millions of people and i blaze all the time and are way smarter than your stupid ass, and can discern the difference between correlation and causation

Jesus, you really don't know how to research . You must look at both sides of the issue, not just the grasscity forums saying that weed is the best thing for you. I smoke a fair amount of ganja, but you have to understand the issue. It can lead to open-mindedness. But even this in itself is not from the actual smoking, but the culture surrounding it. Not actually being smarter.

If your curious about what weed does to you read the Schafer Report.   Report done in the years of the Nixon Administration, when Nixon started the whole war on drugs.  Report showed some interesting results, and may I remind you that this was a GOVERNMENT REPORT.  All in all the report said that weed has no negative effects on users.

That sucks. But there's a ton more cases of people getting into accidents talking on their cell phones, changing the ipod, or just sucking at driving.

Calling your site "drug free world" shows that your goal is to achieve something that cannot and never will never be achievable. You are never going to get rid of the drug supply by making drugs illegal. It creates room for profit and right there you give people business opportunities. The greater the risks, the more $ to be made. And the science in those government websites is full of shit.

The freedom of speech is fine. But we're allowed to call you out on being insanely ignorant if you believe drugfreeworld is giving you the most factual information on the net.

Actually you're wrong too lol. You're repeating the revised anti-drug position. The truth: A correlation between marijuana use and psychosis doesn't necessarily mean that marijuana caused the psychosis. Many of the researchers made this clear in their findings, but reporters left it out. Reporters also failed to observe that massive increases in marijuana use over the past century have not corresponded with increased rates of psychosis.

Ah ok. So marijuana only effects memory retention while under the influence. If you smoke during the weekend, you're going to have trouble remembering it come Monday. This is why people do poorly in school when they smoke all the time. If you go to school high you won't remember it. This leads to people thinking the drug dumbed them down or something along those lines which is just wrong. The good news is that there is no long-term harm to memory. If you stop smoking you'll have no trouble recalling anything.

All things in moderation. I hope one day soon all drugs are made legal and we can let natural selection sort out the rest. I find it silly that I can buy my smokes that cause cancer and other nasty shit that they display so proudly on the package but I can't go out and buy some coke, at least that shit will get me nice and high.

weed definitely brings out the dumb lazy stoner in all of us. the problem is when you're a dumb lazy stoner all the time. then you start losing motivation to do anything. and you get chronic coughs, along with being sick for longer if you continue to smoke while sick. personal case study over the years.

When you're young and in school, this is true. Like I've already said, it can effect memory retention while under the influence. However, while this is true for most at that age, it can also help others learn by taming ADHD.Also, once beyond that stage, it often does the opposite. It can assist in creatively piecing together facts you already know.
