assuming this vid is in favor of marijuana...but one thing I can tell you is that when I used to smoke, I would get sever bronchitis every summer and had an awful cough. Def can be bad for you.

i have and still do smoke a fair amount of the ganja plant, i dont think id go as far as to say it makes you "smarter". it may influence creativity or interest, but definitely not intelligence.

i can definitely feel the effects of long term heavy use. for me i'd say the main negative side affect is memory. i cant remember shit. ask me what i did over the weekend on a monday, and it'll take me a minute or two dig through my thoughts and recall. annoying as fuck

im not even watching the video but dont be fooled kids! marijuana fucks with your shit! after being a casual smoker for about 2 years i started smoking more and more and upon coming out to british columbia i went nutso on the amazing bud, partly due to its cheap costs out here. i always thought i could quit and it would be whatever. so finals were coming around the corner and i told myself i would stop. so after going from smoking like 3 times a day and being high for like everything i was now sober...and damn it was weird. i had a huge self confidence issue, and felt like i had to re-learn shit all over again. fucks with you more than youd think. but ya that was at the beginning of the month and Im totally not reliant on it anymore, obviously its not an "addictive drug". i guess with everything, do it in moderation of youre gonna smoke, at least thats what ive learned.

the truth about marijuana, its a shitty drug do something better. im actually really surprised with the amount of people stating negative effects, I too once thought it did nothing wrong and didn't affect memory. From experience it does affect memory, mostly my timeline, like i remembered events that happened, but couldn't remember if it happened two days ago or a few weeks ago (any one else notice something like this?) I used to smoke daily, then one day quite cold turkey, thank you mushroom trip.

and as far as the union goes, a quality doc, one of my favourites, with lots of info, but too biased toward pro-weed.

the only part of that passage that says anything certain talks about giving it to rats that are newborn and in adolescence. everyone knows if you smoke your face off while your brain is developing you're gonna fuck with your mind.

the closest it got to confirming what you said is "it may" blah blah blah. show me a scientific report (not a report on a report, i'm talking first hand, peer reviewed scientific journal report) that says conclusively that humans' memory gets permanently worse from smoking and i will agree with you (not to be taken as a challenge or whatever, i'm saying if you can supply it you win)

Creativity+1, less violence+1, keeping you away from some pharmy drugs +1.

There are little to know risks about it. IF you want to peddle the littlest details look at the pharmy drugs. Look at all the side effects associated with them.


Marijuana isn't 100% perfect, but it's a shit ton better than plenty of the other stuff that people are being prescribed. One of the safest drugs out there.

literally the dumbest study ive ever seen. of course if you pump pot into a developing infant (rat or human), the child's brain will develop differently and he or she will have cognitive function issues. its the same reason we dont give alcohol to little kids. Moreover, women shouldn't drink while pregnant because the child will have birth defects. soooo dumb.
