Yes you can actually fix that real easily.
Lower the din as far as it will go, if not farther. This will release the tension on the toe wings. Then just twist the wings right side up and re-tighten to appropiate DIN.
Afterwards, I would highly reommend getting the release tested at a shop just to make sure you don't place yourself in any unnecessary danger.
Nah man you should be fine if the chipping is minimal.
If you knocked the whole plastic wing extension thing off it may release funky on that side however.
