Sleep

So usually my sleep schedule is pretty fucked. Go to bed anywhere from 5am to never. For almost a week a couple weeks ago I had a good thing going. Going to be between 11-2, waking up at a decent hour. It was nice to be a little consistent. I'll have to figure for work it out when my mountain opens anyway.


I don't know whether I should go to bed sometime within the next few hours, or just stay up and go to bed tomorrow night or tonight or whatever it is.


Sparknotes sleep how does it work, and should i go to be tonight or tomorrow.

try to stay up then go to bed the next night

happens to me every week. I try to stay up during the day but fail hard around 10-11am.

two key pieces of info:
1) if you're between around 15 and around mid 20's and usually male, you're very likely to operate on an insanely opposite internal clock. tonnes of studies done on this, with still relatively inconclusive results.

2) the working/school works is clearly not designed to work on this clock. the average median that would be best for teenagers to get the most efficiency and attention would be starting school at around 11, ending later and then recommending a bed time of around 1.

It's too bad the world doesn't/ won't follow this though

The story of MY LIFE! I go to college, work 40 hours a week, am on a local entrepreneurship board, am currently launching a new online business, and I still have a fucked up cycle. It is currently 3:14 AM and I'm supposed to be to work around 7. FUCK ME!

I don't know why I'm this way. I really do try to get to bed around 10. But I just can't sleep. I'm productive all day so it's not that I'm just lazy. I seriously can't fall asleep till 4AM.

I should really talk to my doctor about this because it's getting really old working roughly 60+ hrs a week with everything combined, and maybe getting 30 hrs of sleep.

I don't even have an XBOX to try to keep my sleeping cycle normal. Although me and my roommate just got to level 37 on "five." Ha we started at 10:30 PM.

Wow, I'm not much of a zombies man but it took me 5 games oin five just to get to level 8. Then again, I prestiged the day after the game came out and didn't get the game early.

Have a 13 hour school day wednesday and go to work at six the next morning usually a routine throughout my week..

Going along with the guy who was talking about the sleep cycles...

If you want to trick your body in to feeling better the next day, and you don't have a lot of time to sleep..

DO NOT GO TO SLEEP WITH ONLY 3-5 HOURS TIL YOU WAKE UP.

I capitilized this cause it is important. If you have that long to sleep, when you wake up you will be waking up during your REM sleep cycle which can be incredibly draining on you.

Instead, stay up a few more hours so you only get about 2 hours of sleep. Then, it will be more like a nap and you will feel much much better the next day.

Will someone explain to me what cycle I'm in when I wake up, take a piss, drink a glass of water, and go back to sleep like nothing even happened.

GO to youtube and type in deep sleep hypnosis and watch a video by the guy edini.
He may look like some pedophile, but his voice will put you to sleep. If you listen to what hes says, youll be put in hypnosis and fall asleep in like 8minutes.

Quit drinking caffeinated and sugary drinks. Swear to god i've cured 20+ cases of "insomnia".

I go to bed around 12 and wake up whenever. That's usually around 10 or 11.
