Best Runs at Keystone

I'm leaving the 18th and I'm going to be at Keystone for a week of skiing. I've never been there or out west for that matter (not counting a trip to whistler) and was hoping someone could give me the inside scoop on where the best runs on the mountain are.

I know keystone isn't the steepest mountain but I'm hoping for some pow. Are there any really good glades/ cliffs? I'll obviously be shredding the park but thats no reason to go out west so I hopefully someone can give me some good insider info on what to ski.

thanks. ill keep that in mind. are there specific runs or glades that i should know about that are the steepest/ most fun

Hiking at Keystone will be a great time off of North Peak, not Outback.  Hardly anyone goes up and the snow stays untouched for quite a while.  Fun terrain up there as well, I recommend it.  Keystone is fun if you explore.

This, see Keystone can be a great place on a pow day (if it actually snows there) because most people will go to breck or vail for pow. Also, the windows off of Dercum and the Independence bowl are all prime territory.

if you want to ski pow with legit vertical go to vail...keystone is pretty flat, even in the outback and i don't think there's going to be much pow when you get here anyway

if you can't go to vail, hit up breck...transferrable pass and definitely better glades than key

it's all about knowing where to go. but yeah, try and go on a weekday like tuesday or wednesday.

Go Devil is a super fun groomer. I also recommend the windows. pretty solid mellow trees

try the tree's off of the run paymaster to the right also. along with aforementioned the windows and bowls for hike to terrain.

Beaver creek, vails snow but better terrain and cookies. Why do you have to go to "keystone". Keystone sucks for anything besides skiing park and icy night groomers.

A Basin and Keystone are next to each other, on the same ticket. Keystone has fun trees and mellow hike-to bowls, not much snow. A Basin is steeper, has cliffs and chutes, and usually gets a little bit more snow. If you want a chill place thats not too crowded to ski, Keystone is not what you are looking for, A Basin is. Ski both.
