i will be getting one when i get my license. most likely an 08, and been in a previous accident and is in need of a repair. This is because you can get the car 4x cheaper, and repairing it wont cost much(of course, depending on extend of damage and where. i'll only get it if its hit from behind or side.)

Anyone here have one, or knows anyone with one? I'd like to know what you think of the car and if you've driven one before or not and how it drives.

buy a 2001 740il (e38)for $9000, put it on coilovers and roll around like a motherfucking boss. two guns out the fucking sunroof. would you rather look like a gay little try-hard in your 1 series or the owner of goddamned crime syndicate in a slammed 7 series. for some reason they are kinda hard to find with a standard transmission, but you will be too busy doing drive-bys and getting road head to worry about shit like changing gears.

yes! ive always wanted to turn a v12 7 series into a little project car, i dont even know if they came in a manual in the US. but id swap in a 6 speed, try to get a good 400+ hp out of the engine. nice coilvers, sway bars, and poly bushings everywhere, make it a fast as shit, super good handling gangster mobile.
