Armada halo mounting

hey i just got the armada halos in a 176 with sth 14s and was wondering where i should get them mounted. they are my park specific ski obviously but because they are such a unique shape and dont know if center mounting would be smart......any ideas?

this topic has been hit about 10 times in the last month. The concensus always ends up being mount them at -2.5cm from true center. However, there are good riders who mount them at true center and slay. People will suggest both mounting points, but I doubt many if any have spent significant time at both locations to give actual advice. If they were mine I'd mount them center. If you are a strong skier and you only ski park with them, I'd suggest you mount them center also. If you aren't a really strong skier or are going to ski them out of the park at all mount them at -2.5cm.

when you say there are also good riders mount them at center and slay, do you mean slay in the park or just in general

I just started riding my alpha 1s and they are true center and they ski amazing everywhere!!! I dont know why the halo mounting would be different. I took them in the pow today and launched some pretty sizeable stuff and they handled amazingly on landing and riding in the pow. They slay in the park of course but i thought youd like to know how well they do everywhere else. Both are solid all mountain skis even true centered.

I read the threads on these and it was bit indecisive, and I didnt want to mount anywhere but center so asked Mike Hornbeck who said he mounts them at center, seems to work fine for him.

this is what i did.
ive ridden them about 7days now and the mount point is goodies, but i HIGHLY DOUBT that a center mounted alpha/halo could hack it in pow.ive tried at -1.5 and its nothing to write to NS about thats for sure. good allmountain, NOT pow.
sparknotes: -2.5 mount= safe/what armada will tell you to do duhr
-1.5 mount= what ive done, and i am very pleased.good all-mountain performance
Center Mount= all park (i would imagine??), Mike Hornbeck likes center so thats good, spinny im sure.
