google sent me a message on january 1st stating that the cheque is in the mail. it should take 2-3 weeks from california. I didnt feel like paying $25 for express shipping.

The cheque should be for about $345.

I could but it would be illegal. That would get my google account banned. What I am doing is sharing my video and my knowledge of google adsense to a skiing website. Whistler pays google to place an ad on the web with views from their target demographic. Google uses my video because skiiers are watching it. Posting this on NS means even more skiiers clicking on their ad. This makes everybody happy (especially me).

What I would like to find out is....... Am i allowed to blatantly whore my video and ads by saying:
CLICK THE LINK DOOOOODDDDD!!!!1!!!1!!!!!! ?????

I think the answer is no. But i would like to be certain. In the mean time I am going to keep bumping my thread and watching the money roll in. I will also be providing insightful posts so that the mods on NS are happy too.

nope, but I used Bing for shopping and got money. Not sure if they're doing it anymore, but if you looked for products using bing rather than google shopping, and bought something they'd give you money back. I think i got about $50 on purchases that totalled $300

man i would apply for partnership if i were you. If your video is still getting lots of hits daily then you have a really good chance. If you dont make the partnership they will probably ask you to monetize it and you will make skrilla like me.,

The ad was for the Go Pro. I clicked on it hoping the .15 cents i gave you wen't towards A BETTER CAMERA. Haha.

I've been offered to be a youtube partner several times. Perhaps I'll take them up on it? Mainly on my old channel that got removed [they never told me why? :( ]

Your new channel is sick man. you have more subscribers than me lol. That is one of the main things youtube looks for in a partner. I guess it gives a guaranteed audience. Most of your vids have music which obviously makes them sicker, but it is no longer original content. I really want some of my friends to produce some tracks that i can lay over edits and montages or whatever.

Thanks for checking out my channel man. Means a lot. The only "content ID" match was for Scott Barneys video. Which was the one video I didn't edit. I always check to see if youtube identifies content before using it. Just a habit.

Yea the problem is that they might not content ID match it, but if you want to make money then it has to be 100% your own original content. Its basically stealing if you use an artists song without consent. But that being said, your channel has some good shit, a good base of subscribers, and a good amount of views. If you put out some new content i would say you have a chance at partnership or at least
monetization.(sp?)

If you want a lot of views you need

1) A video with potential. ( This means a catchy title, A good display picture for the video, well thought out tags, and most importantly an interesting video. This will get people watching, commenting, liking, etc)

2) Websites to link and embed your video. (Newschoolers, TGR, Epicski, etc. My video is on ASIANCELEBRITIES .COM!!!! although i didnt post it there. as long as it is embedded from youtube then i get the credit.)

3) More videos, More videos, More videos. ( I only have 18 videos on my channel. some of them have a few hundred views while others have thousands. Not every video is going to be successful. My latest videos are called SKI BACKFLIP FAIL! they have barely any views at all. Maybe with time the views will grow, but they dont seem very succesful at the moment.

Maybe newschoolers could do this? ns peeps could make videos and send them to a mod who could post them to the newschoolers youtube account. get alot of views, make money, improve website/beer for mods. could be a way for the ns community to give back to the site.

Google sends a cheque on the first of every month from California.
If you dont make over 100 in a month, your balance will be carried over to the next month and you will not receive a cheque until you make over 100.

What is your youtube channel? ill check it out and maybe go sub for sub with you.

but i wouldnt put all your time into this if you NEED money for windells. This isnt some guaranteed method of quick money. My adsense account has really slowed down and im making less than $5 daily. As a side project this is awesome just watching money pile up.

Thanks man. NS has really helped me out with this. I feel even more obliged to help out every single NS member that posts a help thread or sway the vote threads etc. I have also been giving out karma to my ad clicking minions in this thread lol.
