I own a bar in NYC, and we got put up for a "Best Of" vote. I won this thing last year in one category by getting a push from Newschoolers, I could use the help again.

1 bottle cheap as shit vodka
1 1/2 cups unsalted roasted peanuts


empty the vodka into some kind of big container or jar, drop the peanuts inside. Mix it and store it in a cool dry place. Wait 5 days then mix it with a spoon and store it for another 5 days. It should taste and smell just like peanuts after 5 days, just strain out the peanuts, and shake up the vodka before you drink it because the oil from the peanuts tends to sink to the bottom.


Now vote for my bar and I'll tell you how to make peanut butter shots with that.

PS Your peanut vodka recipe is essentially the recipe for all flavoured vodka:

1. Put X in Vodka
2. Leave for a while
3. ???
4. Profit

Just woke up and checked the poll, thanks a ton for the push guys. I think this poll ends at he New Year, so I'll keep bumping it a little while more.

Mad karma to all.

Peanutbutter shots/Martini

Can be served as a martini or put in shot glasses

1,5 oz peanut vodka
.5 oz creme de cacao
1 oz vanilla simple syrup

Shake all three, and pour, that is it.

You make vanilla simple syrup by buying vanilla bean, cutting it long ways, and putting it in a mixture of 50% water and 50% sugar. Bring it to a boil and then strain it.
