A Critique on Black Ops, oh wait im sorry Ak74u Ops**

Im a treyarch hater, ive blown up the other hype threads, i hate them, yet i still bought the game on the midnight release.. (no one would be playin mw2, and its something new)

I thought the mp40 was overpowered, overused and unstoppable, equipped with juggy and round drum...but boy was I in shock when i saw the stats of the Ak74u the first time i opened create a class and was browsing through the weapons at 1 a.m. the night of the release. I told my friends who i was with even before I unlocked it "watch guys, this will be the next mp40".... yeah well I wrong...

-Not only is the ak74u more accurate and powerful than all of the smg, snipers, shotguns, and lmgs, its unlocked at level 17 (thank god not level 1 or it would be even worse) and it has attachments free of challenges for grip.. (grip on an smg.. good job treyarch) and rapid fire which doesn't affect the recoil...

I play on a GB (gamebattles) team, and i could say that the only other guns Ive been killed by in GB are the galil and g11, totaling to about 1% of my GB deaths. I personally dont use the ump, mp40 or ak74u, call me a rebel but i hate using the overused guns.

Im an mp5 man myself, red tiger in cod4 (duh) and legit 1000 headshots in mw2
anyway back to the argument....
In my combat record, my "most deaths by" results are like 2011 deaths by ak74u, second is 234 deaths by galil, and down from there... hmmm are you noticing something/???

at least in mw2 the UMP could be countered by a good famas or acr, or even m16 player, but what gun can stop the ak74u, used by a quality player?? famas maybe... and to be honest the ak is faster, stronger and wayy more accurate than the famas.

anyway i would like to here your guys thoughts on this. theres no doubt im correct in saying these facts.. and its a damn shame treyarch did this to themselves again, thank god for their monopoly on zombies of they would be done..

praying for MW3, infinity ward please save us

the more call of duty achievements you have the bigger a nerd you are. skill helps no doubt, but nothing can be accomplished in call of duty without lots and lots of time spent playing. you didn't get black ops, play for an hour, and then prestige. you put in a lot of time that first night

Jesus. Its a god damn video game. If you don't fucking like it, sell it. I love being homeschooled. Gives me much more freetime to complete tasks and activities such as skiing.

thank you.. it was a critique indeed, and yea the commandos solid too. graphics blow, killstreaks are a joke, and spawn traps were not fixed (firing range and nuketown w/ chopper = game over)

LOL. so much hate. but me being the best black ops player i can tell you the truth about all the weapons. ak74u is best smg. but assault rifles are still better. ak47 beats the ak74u and the ironsights on the ak47 are the best sight in game. imo /end thread.

dude who cares... it's one gun, and it's not insanely good. it's not nearly as overpowered as the m16 from cod4. black ops is fun as shit and no one's forcing you to play

also theron you literally post more consistently and more often in COD threads than anybody else, honestly, why are you so weird?

So your pissed off about the weapons used BO and in GB? I have a plan for you that will 100% fix your issues.

1. Buy a PC.
2. Playing in a real fucking league, not some bullshit GB.
3. Play cod4/css/cs/quake.
4. Learn its not the gun its the player.

I know what ur sayin OP. and this is gunna piss me off, i played GB for MW2 and it was famas vs ump.
but now it looks like ak47u is killin it, there is nothing like it.
id be as pissed as u are if i actually bought the game. but i didnt, and im just waiting for IW to make MW3 (if they are.. i dont know)
just use it and get rly good. use it to ur advantage. thats all u can rly do i guess.

Honestly it does not matter what gun you use, whenever I pick up a random secondary I can be just as efficient with it compared to my primary. It really just comes down to preference imo.

I always thought the Stoner93 was overpowered.  It's super fun to use, other than that I realized how good the 74u was once I reached level 17, I don't think I bothered unlocking many more guns after that haha.  Overpowered I dunno but it is pretty damn good.

i dont give a fuck what you use. yeah, if you use an assault rifle with a dot sight, or the ak74, you're a douche who enjoys playing on easy mode, but it's hip firing that pisses me off. when people turn a corner holding the trigger.. that shit just shouldnt happen. i mean, think about it. would you be holding the gun at your waist in real life? no. that shit is up at your face and you're looking down the sights all the times. the trigger should lock and people shouldnt be allowed to fire unless theyre aiming first.

Arguably the best shooter of all time, Counter Strike is only hip firing (except snipers). If I'm not mistaken many of the guns in Halo are hip fire only. Then you have the classic real world examples of third world militias that take hip firing to a new level (Re: one handed above the head shooting). Personally, if I know a guy is camping in a room or around a corner I make sure I'm firing as I enter so that I can get the jump on him, and the kill.

AK74U is a try hard gun, it's definitely the easy mode gun of Black Ops. It has good damage and relatively little recoil with the grip on. But there are tons of guns with way more damage, you just have to handle the recoil properly. It's beatable and I wouldn't say it's broken.

I fully agree with you, but I don't think the Ak74 has ruined the game, you can still use other guns and easily compete. There is still so much good to it and i will take dying to an ak74 than a noobtube anyday. Infinity ward fucked up hard on mw2 and the ak74 is not even close to as big of a disaster as one man army and danger close.
