I don't know too much about Saga other than their steezy as fuck jackets.
O yea and free stickers to anyone with a helpful answer =)
"You put on your boots, click into your bindings, dust the snow off your skis, and head out for the chair, and it doesn't matter that you failed a test, didn't get the girl, or that your life is on a one way trip down the shitter, your world is right for the next couple of hours." Warern Miller
the gear is super high quality. they literally think of everything you could want in a jacket. there is pockets everywhere to stash all your crap, the colors are insane, and you can adjust pretty much anything to make it fit you the way you want it. i just my brand new 2010/2011 saga syrup jacket the other day hope this helps. PM me if you wanna know anything else
i'm sorry to rain on the parade, but get causwell. Sure it's not 20k but if all you're looking for is steezy original outerwear, chances are no one at your hill will have it this year, and chances are someone will have saga. It's your choice but in my opinion causwell is better looking and seldom seen, i ski the ec so i don't need 20k weather protection either
Why is that a problem? Are you that worried that you might have the same gear as someone else on the hill?
OP, I say go for it. The people who have gotten their shipments have had nothing but good things to say about the material and fit, as well as other things like tons of pockets, vents, etc. However, Saga is a shell, so you'll probably have to layer on colder days. Look at the 2010-11 Saga thread. There's a lot of bitching going on right now about shipping, but if you look hard enough, you can find some good information and reviews from people who have used this year's gear.
Yup, I totally agree with people when they say they are high quality shells, but it would bug me out to see 10 different skiers with the same jacket as me everytime i went skiing. If OP doesn't care, then YES Saga is a good choice!
