Help with 540 and 360 grabs

hey i need some tips on doing 540 and how to get a good solid grab on my 3`s i got a really solid three right now and i wanna expand it to better and cooler things.

start with a safety. People may not like safetys but i think they look a lot cooler if you keep your skis spread apart, than your average mute grab that SO many people do.

hit up the trick tip cult. but its all about learning how to grab solidly then just practicing 3s and putting them together

pick your legs up like your going to do a somersault then reach down and latch on, all of this just after you set your rotation.

the msot important thing with a grab is patience. Wait until you have started your rotation and have turned atleast 90 degrees before you think about grabbig, otherwise you will lose your balance

personally the jump needs to be at least 15feet for me to grab a spin otherwise my spins too slow,

You kinda just reach down and grab like right after you throw your spin, I learnt mutes first, and still mostly the only grab I do with spins along with the mute where you grab behind the heel dont know what its called

but ye I learnt off like a 20-25foot booter into fresh snow where your not afraid to hurt yourself and you just gotta go for it... got it down pretty good by like my 3rd attempt... first two my grabs were just pretty half ass... obviously I could do both the grab and 3's first

but ye just build a booter and go for it

For a safety grab on the three hit a medium jump. Wait until you are at nearly 180 to reach down and grab. If you think about it to early and go for it sometimes it can throw you off balance. as For 540s pretty much a 3 set a slightly harder rotation and when you come around three let it come to switch spotting your landing

This is what I did:

1. After popping off the lip of the jump, do a daffy while spinning towards the first half (180) of the spin.

2. Grab the back ski of the daffy.

3. Continue spinning with the grab to 180

4. Bring front foot to back foot and cross

5. Continue spinning to 360 or so on.

Hopefully this will help you get more comfortable with spinning and grabbing.

i would start 7s then get into 180 grabs
