Watch lifes or candide pow?

both ~$300 poobahs.  im 5'9" 160lbs, agro level 1000 dragon master.

I am setting them up with dukes for back/side country touring. leaning towards the the bigger sidecut of the watch lifes. i had atomic pimps a few years back (the one's with the betches on em) and they were too much like straight sticks to carve anywheres.

anyways, discuss please. and thank you all for your time and thoughtful answerrrs.

so Surface has durability issues on a ski by ski basis.  Im okay with that.  what about actual help on how each ski skis????

candide pows are sick, but if you struggled to make the pimps work for you on hardpack this will be a struggle too. They will arc out pretty good but you gotta know how to lay them down. They have some humongous tips and tails so they actually ski a little shorter than 186. Probably the best all mountain ski you can get really, and the price is right. I love mine.

I had the pimps in 183s.  so I was thinking candide 175s.  Ive skied the old ANTs 191 too and think a bit shorter should work for me since they are kinda like rails.  thanks for the feedback.
