First, pop in a Cold-eeze, suck on it like a cough drop, but don't bite or chew it- let it completely dissolve. You can get them at a pharmacy, drugstore, or pretty much any grocery store. Chug water (a whole lotta water, man), take a hot shower and deeply inhale the humid air. Take some Nyquil and then sleep for as long as you can. Warm tea helps the throat as well.

Take a shot of Jack D and then chug a Monster, trust me you will feel alive after that, My teammates on track used to do it, and I thought it was bullshit, tried it myself felt pretty good after. It won't get rid of your cold, but it will make you feel better for a couple hours. But like above, EmergenC will help and just stay hydrated, it takes a little bit of time to get rid of a cold, it's not going to go away over night.

On the other hand: gargle warm salt water, sleep, halls, blow your nose, hot showers, hot baths, I've also heard that if you chop up cayenne pepper and put it in a bit of water and gargle that, it does wonders, but sounds painful as anything hahaha. That's all i got, I'm sick at home from school as well right now, lifes a bitch.
A nurse once told me to take a hot shower and wait until it gets really hot and steamy in the bathroom. Once you reach this point bend over at the waist for like 10 seconds. You can feel the mucus in your sinuses start to move when you do this. It really loosens them up. Get out of the shower and blow your nose right away. It definitely helps me when I have a stuffed up nose, I always do this when I get a cold now.

Drink a really hot cup of tea and I mean really hot like as hot as you can take about every 1/2 hr to an hr or if you don't like tea just drink hot water. It kills all the bad crap in your throat and if you do it periodically it will make your cold significantly shorter.
