Mounts for GOPRO HD
Hey guys Im wondering what mounts people use are best for mounting to a ski pole? pics of yours=++k
Please help bump
like the bike seat one??
it can fit anything from a 3/4" to 1.4" inches, so if your trying to get some shots of yourself from a pole, that will work, unless you're talking about using it to get high angles and flying shots of other people, in which case you need a mono pod.
as far as i can understand you use the one intended for mounting to handebars etc
yes get the handlebar mount, it is perfect for a pole mount and it is what i have. works like a charm

Thanks guys you guys are awsome ++k all around
you can buy a monopod from people like eyeofmine multimedia, it will screw in via tripod mount and its super light, you can also just tape a few of the extension pieces (with the prongs) to the tip of the pole and it works for filming yourself and others if you flip the camera around

i have the handlebar mount. however you will need to wrap something around the pole to make it thicker because the smallest the mount can go is bigger than an average ski pole. I personally wraped duct tape around the end of my ski pole until it was thick enough for the mount.
what me and my freind do is just attatch it to the grip of the pole and hold the other end

I went skiing at Hoth Mountain Resort once and it was so cold that I had to cut an extra tall tauntaun in half with my lightsaber and wear it so I wouldn't freeze to death mid-afterbang.-elgato
what i did was cut my pole in half, that way it is not so long and easier to reach when turning the gopro on and off
