This!  I love doing side hits like that too, but there were way too many people on that cat track.  Your attitude changes a ton when you have kids.  I have been mowed down at least 5 times.  Got into some arguments about it, but never escalated.  If someone ran over one of my kids, I'd beat his ass first and go to confession later.

This reminds me of one time when I was skiing down a run, and some dad and his kid on a tow leash thing cut right in front of me, and to avoid them I had to run straight into a tree, hurt so bad. And then the guy told me I should have watched where I was going, I almost hit them!

Wow, nothing "American" in here. This happens all the time in the Alps, too. I'd say that it's even worse in Europe.

Then again - I'd have to exclude your country. The dutch are the most laid back, funny and friendly customers I've had working as a ski instructor during the recent winters. :D Always cheerful. Trekken, remmen, ras geven! :D

I have watched that like 6 times now. It still cracks me up. I actually hate violence and would never justify it, but a bad part of me wanted that snowboarder to break that guy's nose. He needs to learn a lesson that he can't act like that.

All my dutch friends are so chill and funny, and they say EXACTLY what they are thinking/what they want, even if it sounds slightly out of line....I love their bluntness! Massive generalisation but I think the Dutch are all pretty chill guys


On the video - One of the funniest videos out there and the boarder kids were so calm... I would have kicked a fight off straight away! That skier was so out of line...
