Anyone have 09/10 SPK Pros that tear up their shins?
I had an 07/08 pair of SPK Pros and loved them, so I picked up a new pair of 09/10s this year. This summer just wearing them around to break them in a little, they fit great, extremely comfortable. I would wear them for 30-45 minutes at a time, walk around, etc.
Been up 3 days so far this season, and they're absolutely destroying my shins. I can't figure out exactly what it is, it's not shin bang, it's almost like there is a seam in the tongue or something stiff in the foam on the tongue. It looks more like they're rubbing the skin off my shin, not really bruising it or anything.
Looking at the tongue I cannot really find anything that's sticking out or looks like it would obviously cause a problem.
If anyone has had this issue, and has some type of fix that's worked for them, let me know - I don't want to cut open the tongue and start messing around with stuff quite yet, since I can't figure out exactly what it is.
your boots might be to big for you bro, or you dont have them buckled tight enough. do you wear a ski sock?

"Silly skier what is he doing on a rail, those skis are clearly not made to go on rails!" - VCharette
I do wear ski socks - they fit pretty snugly, but that is a thought - I'll give buckling them tighter a shot.
