Ok, so over the past couple years ive had knees problems, nothing like torn ACL's or anything but ive just had chronic pain and I started to notice it a lot freshman year in soccer. Now in junior year, and every season after I ski which is about 3 times a week I can barely walk after I get home, so I was wondering if you guys could help at all, either to give suggestions on how to strengthen my knees? or to do something so they wont hurt as bad. Sorry if this has been answered before.
Have you considered going to a doctor or a physical therapist? If you don't think it's ligaments like the ACL, then it could be your meniscus.
i got kinda the same deal. i just started going to physio once a week and now i have to wear braces on both knees when i ski.

I havent been to a doctor or a PT yet, so in the next week or so i think ill go do that and see what they say and see what i can do from there
osgood schlatters? there is a very good chance that you have it

You guys are fucking terrible."- awsomoz$
We were all expecting something GRAND for our massive efforts down the line. Needless to say, all the money went to drive us 100km from home and play frisbee golf for a week at a "resort" aimed for trips for retarded people"
That may be it cause all the symptoms of that are what I have, but the pain I have is a little bit higher in my knee then what a website shows where the pain should be
the reason you never went to see a doc the first couple of times is beyond me. i mean i got a knee injury and refused physio which was f-ing stupid on my part and i'm paying for it now. go get checked before you fuck it up for life.

Do that as soon as you can. I looked into my knee pain in July and it took until last Wednesday to actually have a diagnosis. After 4 weeks of P.T. and months of waiting, I found out I have 2 rips in my meniscus. I can still ski, just need surgery after the season. It will take a while to get an answer, so jump on it.
