Why are people so fucking frail?

I have been playing football for 4 years now, plan to do it for as long as possible. In my time, on average, one person gets hurt a game. Some kids on my team, who are huge and jacked and not frail looking one bit..get hurt like once every other game. I've had my hands stepped on, been punched in the nose. Had my chinstrap almost break my nose, but I've never taken a knee.


I don't see how people get hurt so easily? I mean, what the fuck? How are you so frail?

This was part of the point I was making, that people give'er harder because they feel safer wearing the gear. No need to have attacked me, just adding to the discussion.
And button admitted he cried? I would never have guessed he'd ever do that after reading his other posts. But he's right. I never imagined crying at something like a football game, but after losing in a playoff game after giving it 110% of yourself, you just kind of breakdown.

i play rugby, grabbing at a jersey is for pussies, put a shoulder into his gut, taunt, run and do it again. but i do feel you, I have gotten hurt and just played through the pain, not practiced and rest for a week and then play again.

Definitely.  Made the mistake of not looking at who created the thread before I clicked on it. Never read a post from him that isn’t about football, protein and how heavy he is.
