I hate it when people call him that guy from the hangover. A kid in my English class called him that and said he was his favorite actor, obviously if you dont know his name he isnt your favorite actor. But he is a super funny comic and smokin a j on tv is fucking awesome.

I always look forward to seeing his stuff. More often than not it's even funny, but some things I don't like as much as others. "Between two Ferns" is really hit-and-miss in my opinion, for example.

Don't be so quick to accuse.

I said Between Two Ferns is hit-and-miss, not that it's bad. Sometimes the awkward uncomfortable humor is pants-pissing funny, and sometimes I just sit there and "what the fuck is this" at it. Slapstick has it's own moments (most of which were filmed in black and white with no sound) but I prefer the kind of jokes that make you think a little bit, or at least have some sort of brainpower to enjoy them. I've seen some work of Zach's that made me shit myself laughing, and some that didn't, though I will admit I am not extremely familiar with his earlier work.

To be honest though, I much prefer Dana Carvey-type humor, Squatting Monkeys Tell No Lies is possibly my favorite comedy show of all time:

saw him on the funny or die tour a couple years ago. IMO blew away demitri martin and was just as funny if not better than ferrell. at that time i compared him with mitch hedberg in terms of pure material.

who the fuck cares if he's popular because he's in movies now? if you think he's funny watch his stuff/movies. laughs are laughs.

because he let a convicted sex rapist (tyson) be apart of his movie, but because mel gibson says a few bad words he gets butt hurt. typical of hollywood though. its too bad for mel that he is a conservative christian. if he denounced all that he could have gotten away with having sex with an under age girl (roman polanski) and still be allowed to appear/make movies.
