I've finally made the decision to go with the liberty LTE this year. I already have a pair of old Salomon 1080s for my teaching skis, 09 K2 Kung Fujas for those rare New England pow days or trips out west. I really wanna focus on my progression in the park this year and I think this is the ski to do it with. My only dilemma now is size. Im 6 foot 1 and weigh 155. Should i get the 171 or 178? My K2s are 179 and I feel like they're a little long for me. Opinions?

I can finally say this without hearing people cry, SNOWBOARDING BLOWS!
Go with the 178, you'll like the extra length, and the "179" Kung Fujas you have are actaully somewhere around 183. I'm 5'8" and I have 171 Phil Laroses and they're a little short at times when I'm jumping and when I'm cruising groomers/ungroomed EC terrain, and I know you don't plan on using them other than a park ski...but you gotta get to the park somehow. The LTEs are super nice, and super light so you wont notice the extra length at all and you'll be much happier on jumps with the longer ski.
I've demo'd the LTE and it was awesome (178cm). I'm 6ft 5 though so it was too small for me but would be spot on for you. Great ski, could do anything, well maybe not deep powder, but super poppy!!! Good choice!!
