Hard hats are not helmets. so they don't need to pass saftey regulations.

the new ones this, I think it's the rival and something else, look really cool. and it works like all other helmets for the most part so...

Ive had it for a few years. Fits me well and works good with my goggles. Really warm and great for toque and goggle strap underneath.

For sure try it on before you buy one, cause I tried one on and it sat way too high on my head. It for sure wouldn't have protected me as much as it needed to. My favorite helmet by far is the Giro Shiv, which sits lower cause it's designed for a beanie and goggles underneath. So comfy.
