Character Customization

So, not only can you pick the general look of your character based on your first perk selection, you will also be able to buy shit to alter his appearance. One of the things I can confirm is the Face Paint option. There are 21 different choices that can be purchased, with the top thirteen being $500. They are the following:

Highlander
Sidewinder
Martis
Millitia
Apache
Sandman
Zulu
Blitz
Commando
Tundra
Banshee

Offline MP with AI confirmed


Game Modes

Normal

  • Team Deathmatch (12 players)
  • Merc Team Deathmatch (No parties)
  • Free for All (8 players, no really large maps)
  • Domination (12 players)
  • Ground War (18 players, TDM and DOM, no super small maps)
  • Search & Destroy
  • Capture the Flag (12 players)
  • Headquarters (12 players)

Hardcore

The ANTE UP (Free-for-all based, 6 players, low buy-in, parties allowed) category includes:

  • One in the Chamber
  • Sticks and Stones - tomahawk, knife, and crossbow only
  • Gun Game - You unlock a better gun with each kill...and lose a "level" with death instead of starting from the beginning
  • Sharpshooter

Wager Match-- gamble your COD points for a bigger pay day. Top 3 get the cash.

Contracts - They look to be the replacement for challenges now. Contracts help you earn more CoD money throughout the game, but they do expire within a certain time-frame and in order to complete them in the future, it looks like you will have to buy them back.

the game looks pretty cool, although the guns still look easy to use

also, i think the whole customization idea is kinda cool. like if you have a clan, you could run all the same camos/red dots etc.

also x2, I'm looking at some perk setups and some pretty fucking unbeatable.

consider this, flak jacket & tactical mask...... you're literally gonna have to shoot the person with your gun to kill them. so this setup is perfect for campers cuz they can just sit in a building shitting on you, while you throw weakened grenades etc. that probably wont kill them.

Ok but after looking them up it says the maximum range is about 18 feet so the range and lethality in the game look a little ridiculous.

well it is still cod. i mean, look at the regular knife slash. you can be standing 5 feet away and still be killed instantly when someone hacks at your ankle.

but that russian guy on the show is not someone i would want to fuck with. ever.

yeah thats true but admit that its fun to play a new game(like when mw2 get out it was fun the first month but now its boring)

now i think black ops gonna be fucking siiiick because it now work with a money system, i mean no more xp,it just changed everything and the 4 new free4all mode looks pretty fun too isnt it?

i'll probably get it just for the sake of singleplayer. They usually have entertaining campaigns, so why not?

I'm pretty excited, so many new fun things. credits instead of xp, crossbows, wager matches, gun game, one in the chamber, kill streaks don't add up, custom emblems/red dots and lots of sick guns.
